41 Feb 22 Comment Very neat composite, skillfuly crafted, down to the light reflecting on the ground outside.

The white at the top of the image doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the image, which says night so I would darken it

I like the person, but I am left wondering whey they would be looking in a dark window rather than the window in the room with the lights on, seems more sinister than curiosity

41 Feb 22 Comment This is wonderfully creative. It has a lot of impact. I love how you turned the side into the ceiling. The perspective of the ceiling is awesome!

To improve
-- the words on the right side are reversed, which screams PS. In the clone too you can clone flipped. I would clone the words on new blank layers, flipped, and then transform them so it doesn't just look like PS, transform, flip.
-- The scream face reflection seems too bright, as nothing else is reflecting that brightly

41 Feb 22 Comment I love ICM. We often do ICM on our workshops and it can be liberating and fun.

I'm with Brad. I like the original better as I like the greens and the person makes more sense. The warmer tones are nice for an abstract, but the person doesn't have enough form.

41 Feb 22 Comment I love the motion of the trees after you liquified them. I often liquify flower stems, but not trees. The BW treatment adds to the artistic appeal. The image have rhythm. Very nice!! Feb 28th
41 Feb 22 Comment I like the low angle and the tree reaching upward, but why are we seeing the bottom of the clover and the top of the butterfly?

FWIW, The scientist in me cringes at the coloring change of the butterfly, perhaps go even more wild or creative so that it sings creative composite rather than scientifically inacfcurate?

44 Feb 22 Reply Gray whites are no good at all, so you made the right call! TYhe scene is still wonderful! Feb 28th
44 Feb 22 Comment I love the fall colors! The yellows and oranges are sumptuous and play well with the vertical lines of the white tree trunks.

The highlights and midtones are well handled, I wish that there was a little more subject in the shadows, makes me wonderf about cropping more off of the top??

44 Feb 22 Comment The shadows and highlights and lines define this scene well. I love the time of day and direction of the light, creating those wonderful leading shadows.

The columns look at tad oversharpened and the blues, especially in far back, seem overstaturated.

44 Feb 22 Comment I love the effect here. The image almost looks mirrored.

The effect on the bikes and certain areas are wonderful, perhaps a mask and a reduced opacity on the sidewalk and other areas. I often do selective editing on dramatic filters like this.

Question. I was sort of surprised with the need for 9 exposures, were the resulting histograms really showing the need for nine?

44 Feb 22 Comment This is stunning! wow! I do not have Badlands on my current travel wish list, this makes me want to add that.

It is just fabulous and the tone mapping and composition is perfect. To improve? clone out the yellow bushes in the very bottom and warm up the far far mountains as they have a touch of cyan.

44 Feb 22 Comment I like the composition and the inclusion of the people for scale. The trail really leads the viewer's eye right thru the image.

The water does seem a little blown out and the blacks seem a little blocked up for a HDR.

44 Feb 22 Reply Thank you Tom. I did move and arrange the chairs and I put the book and pencil on the desk, and left the pencil on the floor when it rolled off. I had debated about the far left side, so thank you for the slight crop there. The bulletin boards were indeed wonky, like the felting above to hang things was all warped. I like how your adjustment affected the right most bulletin board, thanks! Feb 5th
44 Feb 22 Comment I had a similar image last month and the consensus was that the opposite composition might be stronger since it would not have windows, or the tops of the ugly buildings...inquiring minds want to know, well, mine anyway, is interested in the impact of this opposite composition.
