I love this idea. and I am impressed that you drew the faces free hand, and with a mouse no less, wow. The woodpecker's expression is whimsical so the perfect fit for the scene.
Perhaps take the grasses out on the left? The tree holds the viewers interests, so why let them wander at the left edge...
Title ideas...
"Woodpecker at the Picasso Tree"
"I see faces"
"The Woodpecker's friends"
"Ever feel like you are being watched?" |

Very creative Tom!
Any suggestions are minor but with composites they can make a difference. I would tone down two areas: his neck/ear and the very left side of the area at the end of the tunnel. I would also take out or tone down the curve at the end of the tunnel.
And Kudos for covidit -- we creatives need to keep busy during this pandemic. |

I like it a lot as an abstract, but I am not sure how it is an "altered reality"

I like the composite and the blending. The mixer brush was well applied.
Perhaps flip the image so it reads left to right?
I like it all, except I am perplexed by the title, seems like "lunch" or "A tasty snack" is more fitting than babysitter, lol. |

I love the thought process behind the image -- we are all definitely caught up too much to enjoy life and nature and notice the beauty all around us!
I like Kathy's edit with the one branch removed.
Tom's version has a wonderful appeal because of it's simplification. |

I used warp for the left side
I also used a color blend mode to take the blue and purple out of the ceiling |

I like the fisheye perspective, but using the warp a little slightly on the left side would eliminate the ornament and straighten some of the left side. I like the leading line of the walkway and the tone mapping and details are good
There is a blue color cast on the ceiling |

I love the scene -- especially the wheel barrel and the flag reflection in the window.
I would love to visit here!
Perhaps less of the trees in the background. There is also a lot of yellow, like on the rocks.

A great classic scene.
Covedits are fine during this time. I actually have so many images in my queue I could be quarantined for five years and still not run out of material, although I always prefer taking the photographs to editing them.
Most cameras today can handle f22 without too much distortion, yet you saw it and adjusted for it. I am not familiar with focus magic, better than Topaz Sharpen AI?
"I would now do a three or four shot focus bracket rather than shooting F 22. You are going to have to be patient with the tourist traffic around the light, but you only need one clean shot from up near the light if you focus bracket. From this angle, that near piece of ledge is about 12 inches, so trying to find a hyperfocal point even at F 22 is an exercise. The focus bracket would simplify that part even if it means blending multiple HDR brackets."
Intersting, I never thought about focus bracketing there. Patience is a virtue, there are photographers waiting for you puddle and a lot people walking around top. It was easier before cell phones, someone walking around is easy to wait for, but people standing and staring at their tiny screens when they are visiting such a majestic place is another!?! chjeck out Brad Becker's April image -- wonderful sunset and the person is looking at their phone http://psadigital.org/group41/showfull.php?iid=58576 |

love the scene! The one mapping is done well. The yellow and green lead the viewer's eye wonderfully right into the scene.
Perhaps darken the right side a tad and add a little contrast.

I love the scene and your composition.
Perhaps a little more contrast and warming up the blue waves... |

yes, my filter is a superblue IR filter, 590
I like it because it turns the trees and foliage blue
https://www.lifepixel.com/infrared-filters-choices/super-infrared-filter
"With the red & blue channels swapped the foliage takes on a golden orange tone and sky a beautiful royal blue."
but I almost never swap the channels with that filter. |

I like the shadows and leading line and neat how your composition takes you to the X marks the spot. Your eye for composition with the fence leading you right into the scene is great.
Perhaps add some contrast and burn the grasses down on the far right. |

I love the reflection and composition. The channel swapping is very effective here. You found a scene and created a composition with the infrared that our eyes would not see.
I am not sure about the stick and reflection on the bottom, Perhaps crop it out to emphasize the tree and reflection? |

I love the simplicity of the background and the texture of the subject. It is indeed a portrait.
I am unsure of what the same teasel plant would with/without IR to understand how it portrays the IR light. It seems like this could be achieved with the IR filter still blocking?
It does seem to need a little more contrast, I like what Henry did. |
