very good way to deal with distracting background!
I agree, I blur a lot and have to go in painstakingly and get rid of the unwanted blur areas. Seems like there has to be a better way to blur, a "smart" way. Perhaps is PS ver 65?
I love the colors and how the blue area is near the horse's face. And the shadow adds a lot, good touch.
The mane and tail are too "Helmet head", there are free and purchasable "hair" "brushes" especially useful for painting.
Overall I love the effect, the colors and painting and the way you can created such an artistic image with impactful simplicity out of such a busy scene.

tone down the whites and lessen the gray poster shadows and this awesome image is even better! |

wow, very creative, well thought out!
Good job extracting the bird. and I like the tree and the wanted sign, just LOL!
The shadow on the wanted sign seems very large, for me there is too much gray color and around too many sides. There is no shadow on the bird or of the bird on the tree so I think that the gray shadow and the width and the opacity is too much.
Also the yellow on the BW bird on the wanted sign got too light and appears overexposed on my screen.
Overall I love the concept and execution, very creative! |

I would likely have cloned over or content aware fill the blue wrist thing on #44, in the PJ version it works, here it cuts the wrist... |

I love this! The blue rocks! The brown version did not have enough face detail for my personal taste. I really like the end product, it pops, it says "ART" but it is still PJ

I would also have faded (new layer, painted with blue at 20% opacity the white part and the abstract near the net
What do you mean "Then I had to slowly use the stamp tool to replace the color in the net to the blue"?
Did you try color blend mode?
Did you try the color replacement brush? |

I definitely agree about the tree trunk, the texture that I chose did not have it and I did not recreate it and it would add to have a little there...
lol, I know some people eat puffins, sadly, but GHO? lol
I like the baby great horned owl, the mother was protecting it, that it why it was all fluffed up, trying to scare away the bird that kept trying to get the chick. |

I love the colors and the layers and lines, this image has a lot of depth. The HDR and colors are well done. The placement of the tree, the branches and the sun all come together here!
I do like it cropped a little tighter to eliminate the right side past the tree. a little blue color cast on some of the white/highlights and perhaps a little dehaze on the center mount... |
