Great composition, lighting, and conversion to B&W. The solarizing effect is also great. I would, however, add a small gray stroke to give it some definition on the top and bottom. |

Good composition, color, and sharpness. I agree with Ruth it is a beautiful bird but I would like to see it pop a bit more. I would try changing the framing square, and selecting and darkening the background or adding a vignette. |

Good composition and placement in the frame. I like your edits, but feel some sharpness was lost and excessive brightness was added. I brought it into Lightroom where I selected the bird and reduced the exposure and added sharpness. I then selected the background where I reduced the exposure, highlights, and shadows. I also reduced the texture to make it less crunchy. Thumbnail is attached. |

Great composition, color, and sharpness. As Bollin says, it focuses on telling the historical story. One would not know it had been moved to a different location. As for possible adjustments, the light in the top left corner attracts the eye. Cropping a little off the top and left side would eliminate this and focus the eye on the cabin. |

Very good composition, lighting, and sharpness. Even though you stopped the action the location of the bird in the frame leaves a feeling of motion. The only adjustments I would consider would be to lighten the ground/water where the bird is landing, and since the surrounding area of the screen is black I would add a soft gray stroke around the image. |

A nice memory image. The composition, colors and sharpness are very good. The only adjustment I would suggest would be to add a vignette to darken down the edges a bit. |

Thanks for the comments.
We were taking our 13 year old grandson to the museum so waiting around for a better photo was not an option. I liked the 2 people because they added a sense of scale. In addition, there current placement allowed for easy removal in Photoshop if I decided to do that in post. |
