25 Oct 24 Comment A great shot with good color and composition. I agree with Audrey's crop, all of the high clouds do not add much. I thought cropping a bit off the right would also make the people more prominent. See below. Oct 18th
25 Oct 24 Comment Great image which really projects her feeling of being tired. The B&W conversion is good, but the histogram in Lightroom showed it could be lightened a bit. That is a matter of personal taste. The fact that the lines in the wall are not vertical bothered me. I straightened in Lightroom which created white areas on the bottom left and top right. The resulting cropping removed part of her arm. Again more of a personal taste issue. Both of the changes are in the image below so you can see the changes. Oct 18th
25 Oct 24 Comment Welcome to the group. This is a wonderful image. The composition is good and the switch to B&W is a benefit. I agree with the comments of others so I will not repeat them. I like the removal of the house. Something to look for next time you shoot this type of image is to have a object on the bridge as a subject. I find it makes for a stronger image. Oct 18th
25 Oct 24 Comment Good color and composition. I like the crop and the removal of the wires. I agree with Jennie, a great Halloween image. Oct 18th
25 Oct 24 Comment I like the colors, composition, and lighting. Adding a sky and making the color changes is a real improvement. There is plenty for the eye to wander around and see, but the white car with the colorful graffiti draws the eye back to it and grounds the image. For my taste all of the tracks in the bottom of the photo, especially the shiny ones in the lower right corner, attract the eye away from the subject. I cropped the image to eliminate some of the tracks. See if you like it. Oct 14th
25 Oct 24 Comment Great colors and composition. I like the switch to the diagonal position and the crop. I tried a vignette in Lightroom and it did not work well. My guess is there is not enough information. I do not know the pixel size of the original but it is a significant crop which may have eliminated too many pixels. You may want to try going back to the original and increasing the pixels and then try the crop. I think to can do that in Photoshop or definitely in Topaz Gigapixel AI. Oct 14th
25 Oct 24 Comment Thanks for your comments. I never thought to flip it horizontally. Could make an interesting image. Oct 8th
25 Oct 24 Reply Thanks for your comments. It already has a light vignette, to much more and it will get to dark. Going B&W is an interesting thought. I was going for the fall colors so a B&W would change the approach but could be very interesting. Oct 8th
25 Oct 24 Reply Thanks for your comments. The photo was taken at 2PM. I agree the lighting looks harsh. I was trying to enhance the red, yellow and orange colors and over did it. I agree the green plant has to go. Oct 8th
