25 Sep 22 Comment Composition is good, except the vertical/horizontal issue discussed by others. The tone range is a bit dark mainly on the bottom third of the image. The use of a gradient tool to lighten the area would balance the tones. The vertical/horizontal issue is created, I think, by the small silo on the left leaning to the right and the main silo is vertical. I wonder if you moved to the right to eliminate the space between the two silos it would look better. I think the wires work in this image since it is an industrial facility, and wires are expected. 25 Sep 22 Comment The lighting, color and composition are spot on. The blurry background helps focus the eye on the model. I would tone down the brightness/sharpness of the building behind the model to make the building the same degree of blur/brightness as the rest of the background. I like Harvey's idea of black and white. Couple of thoughts, try a sepia tone instead of B&W, or go for B&W but leave the 3 red items. Sep 20th
25 Sep 22 Comment Great light, composition, and color. Your blending of the 2 images is excellent and the result is a great image. I wonder what would happen if you moved to the left to put the harbor behind the land at the end of the bridge. That may, however, create the same problem with the harbor picking out on the right. As I have mentioned before I do not like wires. I would clone them out, it would be a cleaner image. Sep 20th
25 Sep 22 Comment What's not to like, two great kids and obviously a loving family. The image tells a great story. The crop is good, and the irregular boarder adds interest. I agree with Harvey about softening/feathering the transition from photo to boarder. Sep 20th
25 Sep 22 Comment Great light and handling of the water. B&W is definitely the best for this image. I agree with the refinements Harvey suggests. I also would tone down or blur the white objects in the middle of the bushes in the background. My eye went right to them. Sep 20th
25 Sep 22 Comment Great color, composition and lighting. Some of the flower petals are not sharp, which is not a problem, but it makes me wonder if you took the shot of just the flower would the sharpness be different. Also, the little yellow flower (?) on the very top immediately drew my eye. It would be easy to remove. Sep 20th
