25 Aug 22 Comment Great composition, color, and use of natural light. I generally find wires an annoying distraction which take away from an image. In this image my eye went immediately to the power pole along the left edge and then followed the wires across the image. I also felt that something was a little off from a true horizontal/vertical standpoint, and this was brought out by the angle of the wires. I imported into LR where I cropped a bit off the left and top and used the transform tool to make a slight adjustment which squared up the horizontal/vertical. In PS I used the spot healing brush to remove the wires on the left of tall pole, removed the short pole and the bottom wire across the image. I left the tall pole and wires since it helps make the image realistic. See thumbnail. Aug 22nd
25 Aug 22 Comment Great composition. Before I read your comments, I thought it was a photo of an old photo. Your change to a vintage color is excellent. This also is an interesting technique for images taken a historical reenactments. Aug 22nd
25 Aug 22 Comment Nice balanced composition, but I agree with Julie and Bollin the bottom feels a bit cropped off. Your changes in response to Ruth's comment help focus the eye. There also seems to be a competition on what is the subject, the flowers or the shadows. Shooting at different angles or time of day (hard to do after a 1200-foot climb) may yield some interesting results. Aug 22nd
25 Aug 22 Comment I like the colors and textures and that everything is sharp. The bottom 1/3rd does not add much so I took it into LR and cropped to a square to empathize the intertwining. I also reduced the illuminance of the background to focus the eye more on the subject. The result is in the thumbnail. See if you like it. Aug 22nd
25 Aug 22 Comment The composition is good, your crop moved the bright spot out of center which added interest along with removing the fence. The color range, from dark greens to browns also adds interest. Aug 22nd
25 Aug 22 Comment The colors are gorgeous, and the arc of the wake is a nice juxtaposition to the horizontal lines in the wake. Several parts of the photo would make an interesting texture of a background in another photo. Aug 22nd
