As you point out this is a unique image. The composition is good as are the colors. Some selective blurring of the background may bring out the crystals out more. |

Nice image of a specimen tree. I agree the sharpening looks a bit off. I would be interested in what the tree looks like in fall color. |

A great shot, the pelican is sharp where it needs to be, and the fact it is flying toward you is a real plus. I think it could be a stronger image if the was cropped, and the buildings toned down. I cropped the bottom and sides and used a linear gradient to tone the buildings. The result is attached. |

I agree with Abe, your text says the subject is the little green pepper, but visually it does not look like the subject. I like Abe's solution, although I would not crop it so tight. My original reaction was this is a study in color, I did not even see the little green fellow. I think replacing the onions with a green or green blue veggie would strengthen the image. That, however, also changes the dinner menu. It also could use a little sharpening. |
