Good old Teddy, he/she always brings a smile. I also like Abe's enhancements, but it is cropped a bit tight for my tastes. Did you try different background colors to see the difference? |

This is a beautiful image. I like the colors and the composition. Focus stacking, as already discussed, would help separate the flower from the ones in the background. I find the crop a little bit tight, the top and right petals are on the edge or cut off by the edge. The bud in the lower left corner helps add some dimension and I think is better left out of focus. I would also enlarge the crop to include all of the bud. |

This is an image I would never think of shooting. I think you captured it very well and the detail of the feathers is well done. The only minor suggestions I have is to remove the feather stem going from bottom right to middle right side. Since it is flowing counter to all of the other stems it pops out. I would like to see a little bit more of the seed, and have it moved a bit from the left edge. |

Matt Kloskowski has a training program on textures. This background came from is program. He has, by the way, all of his programs on sale at 50% off. |
