I originally included some of the far distance, but decided against it because there is a flat uninteresting valley followed by a mountain range. It is a very different image and takes away from the black rocks and yellow mesquite. Below is the original as shot. I think there definitely are several different images in the original. |

Great image. I also have not heard of a photo ball, but this image must be a good example. The only change I would make is to make the image square. It helps focus the eye on the ball. See thumbnail. |

Nice image and I like the colors and sharpness. I think the adjustments Audrey and Lona did enhance the colors and draw the eye to the coyote. |

Great image and you daughter has the potential to be a model. I agree with the changes Audrey made. The only thing I would do different the next time you get a chance for a close in shot would be the try a variety of f-stops. Her face is a bit soft, which works in this case, but it could be different with a different f-stop |

Great image and well composed. It looks a little over sharpened, but never having seen one of these before I am not sure. My wife is growing her first tomato plant and ate her first tomato today. She is like a little kid in a candy store, posting progress photos on Facebook every day. I do not think I will show her your photo, do not want to dampen her enthusiasm. |

I like the lines which lead the eye out to the end of the pier. I am not sure about the lighthouse on the left side, the light attracts the eye but it is so far away it is hard to determine what it is. The bottom third of the foreground does not add much to the image. I would crop it out so the end of the pier and the lighthouse are more visible. I did this as seen in the attached thumbnail. I also adjusted the shadows to reduce the blocked up blacks, and to eliminate the blown out highlights. |

Really smooth and calming water with the rocks and moss showing through the water to make it have a little color. I can not add anything to the previous comments, however if you decide to enter it for an exhibition, there are 2 things I always do. 1) open it in Photoshop, change view to 200% and review the whole image for little bright spots to remove with content aware especially along the edges which attract the eye; 2) play with the luminosity and saturation sliders in Lightroom's HSL panel to enhance the greens just a little bit. |
