I find there are many times I do not HDR, but it is better to have it and delete the extra shots. It beats having to make another trip, if that is even possible.

This is a great photo. It is definitely worth of a mounting on a wall and/or selling. The only thing I would consider as a change, for my personal taste, is to add a vignette to darken the borders just a little. I did this in Lightroom, see the thumbnail. |

This has lots of potential. The urban/rural theme is a good one. I also like Vincent's changes. That said, I would crop out the mountains and some of the left side to bring the bison more toward the center. And then sharpen some. I did this in Lightroom and the result is in the thumbnail. An alternative, if you get this opportunity again, would be to move, if possible, to a shot with 3 bison, preferably not their rear ends. I think this would make a stronger foreground. |

You captured a precious moment. I agree with Audrey that a vignette is needed. I also would see fi darkening the faces a bit would add to the pop. |

The photo has great color and composition. I think it is a victim of too much HDR. You do not say how many f-stops you used between shots. I have found that 2 f-stops is too much for my tastes and only use 1 f-stop, which I shot a lot. I wonder what it would look like as a single shot and darkening the land, or brightening the falls. |

Overall this photo has lots of potential. I think Marla's adjustments are an improvement by eliminating some of the white spots in the yellow cap. You may want to try using content aware on PS to see if some more of the white spots can be removed. I would try putting a vignette to darken the borders. The top left is particularly bright. This would focus the eye more on the squash/gourd. |
