25 Oct 17 Reply I like the black and white also and had tried that before posting to the group, but I thought the reds/browns in the color version made it pop a little more. Oct 29th
25 Oct 17 Comment This was not easy to take and you did a good job in lining everything up. I like the tree in the bottom left as it anchors the photo. It is unfortunate the pilot did not hit the gas and lumanate the balloon, but that is luck. I also would like to see a little illumination on the faces of the people. I attempted this in Lightroom. 25 Oct 17 Comment The bird is nice and sharp and is looking engaged with what you are doing. I do not know if you cropped the photo, but including his feet would complete the photo. Also I would crop the left side out, this would eliminate a bright spot Drain mentions and get the bird away from dead center. Oct 24th
25 Oct 17 Comment I like the angle of the shot and your shutter speed caught the steam giving a feel of action. It feels a bit in you face due to the closeness to the camera, just what I would expect from an old time photo. Oct 24th
25 Oct 17 Comment A nice picture of a mixture of flower types and colors. I think there is a picture in the picture. Crop down to the 3 blue flowers in the middle and some of the small red ones. See thumbnail. Oct 24th
