Many thanks Isaac but after a meeting at the club last Friday to discuss the 2 themed subjects for the this years competitions it has been decided that only one patch of red can appear in the image but there is a People competition this year so all is not lost |

Hi Guy
There was no set up with this one I walked into the rest area and I saw this lovely young lady just sat away from the rest of the dance troupe,I pointed to my camera and then at her she turned towards me with a big smile and I grabbed the shot. |

Hi Erik
I did look closely at the other image along side your posted image and you have 2 fabulous images and plenty more I would think. |

Hi Erik
The master strikes again, you can count every feather on the Egret its pin sharp, the ripples in the lake show the movement of the water as it was disturbed while the bird was fishing.
DOF is perfect,as for nature judging friends of mine who like you are top nature photographers animal behaviour in a nature shot counts for everything and that is what you have captured. |

Hi Guy
I love the way you have framed the waterfall using the surrounding foliage, for me the shutter speed is perfect you have captured the many cascades within the main fall beautifully and exposure is perfect. |

Hi Isaac
This image for me so tells a story the complete concentration of the man creating the monster sized bubble his is totally focused on it, meanwhile the young lad shows unbridled joy and excitement as arms outspread he rushes towards it a fabulous study of human emotions. |

Hi Gary
Its wonderful driving along back roads and coming across something that is so well worth grabbing the camera for.
Great detail throughout the slight diagonal of the tractor for me adds interest to the image,I have to admit I have never been a fan of a white vignette but with the sepia tone it really works. |

Hi Ella
This is no easy shot to pull off because I imagine the silk on the shoes and gloss of the pearls must have acted like a pair of light reflectors, but as always you have controlled the light and exposure perfectly,I love the way the ribbon intertwines down and around the side of the shoe and connects with the pearls thus cleverly linking all the subjects of the still life.
This at first glance may look a very simple image there is so much hard work and thought gone into this so well done Ella. |

Hi Susan
Mono so suits this image you get the full tonal range of the lights and darks, the background works well for the texture and roughness of the wall contrasts so well with the calmness exuded by the monk.
Great work. |

Hi Ed
Love the way you have taken this at an angle not straight down the middle, lovely textures throughout the image,as Susan said I might just up the contrast ever so slightly but a great image. |

Hi Michael
I love long exposure images, superb detail and texture throughout the light areas in the sky beautifully handled and the jetty leads the eye straight to the lighthouse.
Hoping to see more from your trip |

Hi Peter
I so love these installations whenever you are lucky enough to come across them,as always your composition is so carefully thought out it is impeccable the contrast between the ghostly figure and the darker bike and background figures so work the whites are so well handled.
My only problem I would not like to jump on that saddle. |

Hi John
Not sure about information this looks like confusion corner to me its got to be the biggest health and safety risk in the country.
As always so well spotted, its social history,a pattern shot, and a horror story all rolled into one.
My only tip would be to just lower the highlights just a touch.
A sign of the times well done John. |
