Hi Erik
So sorry for late critique but we have our new home in the Cheshire countryside and its beyond beautiful so have been commuting between there and my apartment on the Wirral which I am staying at until I retire in 3 weeks time.
The early morning low soft light just makes this image for me it is pure magic, the background is beautifully out of focus and the attention is focused on the stars of the show the 3 beautiful deer, the foreground undergrowth not only adds depth but shows the enviroment the animals were in,another truly magical and captivating image from an exceptional nature photographer. |

Hi Vella
This so my sort of image I loved the thumbnail opened it up and loved it even more.
As you have done here I love looking at larger buildings in sections and seeing if there are any interesting shapes or patterns within the facade of the buildings, contrast is spot on,really sharp throughout the various quadrants of the 2 colours really add interest if this was in a comp I was judging it would be very high up in the awards.
Absolutely love it. |

Hi Guy
I bet this was a noisy day out, your image is wonderfully sharp and detailed the blurred background makes the bird absolutely jump out at you and hold your attention, strong detail throughout and the light areas so well controlled whatever it is its a wonderfful nature image. |

Hi Bill
A limited colour palette but they sit so well together in harmony.
I would never have guessed you had removed anything an amazing piece of pp.
Lovely angle on the car and perfectly cropped. |

Hi Isaac
What a great spot perfectly cropped the orange tones of the buildings are so complimentary to the beautiful deep blue sky.
Piece of geometric genius. |

Hi Guy
So sorry for the late reply doing a lot of commuting between Cheshire and Merseyside at the moment.
I was actually given the best place in the house for photos on this event but the dancer was the very very back of the large performance area it was an idea I had to try and see if it would make an image with a lot of shadow and the edge of a spot light,I totally agree with the comment about the face and will try and ease it out a little. |

Hi Gary
Firstly the letter box crop works so well with this image, fabulous lead in to the picture the 2 green lights at the end of the trail give the eye somewhere to stop, the colours are so warm and sit so well together there is even a reflected warmth in the deep blue of the sky.Top image. |

Hi Susan
For me this takes minamalism, to another level,so well spotted and cropped to perfection all the avalanche protectors are at different angles making it even more interesting, I just love looking at it its got me entranced.
Yes do put a 2 pixel white border around it. |

Hi Michael
The human face I see is like one of the marble statues you see of a Greek god you may be the first person to have photographed Poseidon.
Wonderful detail in the dark areas the whites really held in well,if any one needs to see dynamism in a image show them this.
Great crop really makes you concentrate on the wave hitting the rocks. |

Hi Susan
Thank you so much for your kind words
I have had to use the archives a lot recently because I have decided to retire and we have acquired a beautiful countryside apartment in the Cheshire countryside so not much time to get the camera out recently. |

Hi Peter
It could as easily be a lunar landscape, the shapes, textures and patterns are stunning when you have so much area like this in front of you it can be difficult to chose and area to frame as always you were stood in the right place to create an image that flows and hold interest throughout.
An amazing landscape beautifully captured and presented. |

Hi John
You have caught the minamalist bug and taken to it like a duck to water.
It looks like it was a very bright day you have handled the whites very well nothing blown out and lots of texture retained.love the angle, for me its a very very good spot and fits the brief very very well. |
