Hi Erik
As always your kind words are so much appreciated. I have to leave the audience in as Luma are partly funded by the arts council they have to ask attendees to their events to fill in a short questionaire about how good was the event etc and some of my pictures of the event are also forwarded to the arts council so I do have show audience attendance and reaction afraid its part of the remit. |

Hi Erik
This picture says calm, peace and tranquility to me you can't buy that feeling but when you get that opportunity, treasure and capture it so it can take you back to that place and emotion at a later date images are valuable keepsakes.
The lighting is stunning wonderful detail throughout reds and oranges beautifully handled like Isaac I wish I was stood next to you taking in this scene in the pre tourist hours. |

Hi Vella
Wow what a story and an image to match beautifully composed and presented as good a nature image as you will see when you look at the colour of the background you can see it matches the animals fur they must be almost impossible to spot when they are in the undergrowth. Its a winner for me have a great trip I can't wait to enjoy the images you bring back from this trip. |

Hi Guy
This for me is more than a record shot of this fabulous clock and the story behind it,the way you have composed and presented it for me is superb amazing detail everything sits so well together colours beautifully handled I could look at this all day.
I must say if I had to try and down 3.5litres of wine in one go it would be the equivalent of an execution. |

Hi Bill
This sounds like a fun evening at your camera club we have had similar events over the years at our club but never with bubbles I must suggest that.
Such a creative image as Guy said the bubbles appear to be moving top to bottom because of the size and the coloured stripes as the backdrop moving left to right contrast beuatifully but it all sits so comfortable together.
Beautifully processed.

Hi Isaac
All good images tell a story and boy this tells a story love the way you have zoomed in to capture the scene you are taken straight to the part that tells the story no distractions the blurred background adding to the impact, wonderful texture and sharpness in both animals, its a winner all day long in my book. |

Hi Susan
the movement of the water has been captured to perfection the waterway not only leads the eye a;; the way through the picture but adds wonderful contrast between the sides of picture a full tonal range of monochrome tones all the way through,no picture however good is worth putting yourself in danger so please be careful in future. |

Hi Michael
It looks like you took a wrong turning on your drive there and ended up on the moon.
Incredible desolate landscape that so suits monochrome the early morning light adds wonderful contrast and great textures throughout.
The cloud is the absolute icing on the cake.
Hope you have more for us to enjoy from this trip. |

Hi Peter
This looks like a photographers dream but as always you have scouted round found the perfect composition the 2 cars perfectly placed its almost like the Marie Celeste everything left in place as it was when it was abandoned now nature is having its say and reclaiming the land.
As always wonderful texture and detail throughout perfect sky.
I would love to see more from this location in the future. |

Hi John
Another great spot wonderful textures in the background and the gulley behind the seaweed almost mirrors the shape of the seaweed and adds to the image I actually read the image from top right down but it flows so well if you read it that way and works for me as well as your last image which I so enjoyed.
Just a couple of points there is a small piece of detached seaweed about a third up on the left edge I might remove that and also if you just open the blacks up a touch I think it would bring out even more of the wonderful detail in the lower part of the seaweed |
