Hi Erik
I am totally transfixed by this image the contrast between the fore and background are so well handled, the thought that has gone into the composition is there for all to see, wonderful detail and texture in the tree, the background is very bright but nothing is blown, the various orange tones of image sit so well with the blue sky.
Erik fire the printer up. |

Hi Guy
As Erik said you have given us an image of an object we may not have seen or ever will see.
For me the crop is spot on lovely job with the temperature adjustment for me its as good a record shot of this statue as you are going to see well done. |

Hi Bill
Another masterful capture of a stunning building I am so glad it was a quiet time with only a few people it lets the eye take the scale and beauty of the structure, the foreground installations give a sense of scale to the building, you and your trusty i-phone produced another memorable image. |

Hi Isaac
I so love visiting airshows and the aerobatic teams always present great photo opportunities and you really made the most of your visit, this is a classic move carried out by the Thunderbirds and takes so much skill, hope you have more from this display to share.
As a note of reference the aircraft are F-16C Fighting Falcons. |

Hi Gary
One of those special skies you often see around the coastline, the pier really leads you straight to that amazing sky,you went for your coffee at the right time that lighting is gone in a very short time. |

Hi Judith
What a brilliant idea for an image and wonderfully carried out the bright frame does not over bother me as the flower on the left side is quite bright and the brightness contrasts so well with the muted tones of the vase and background.
For me it is something different and so works. |

Hi Ed
Firstly massive apologies for posting so late I was positive I had posted and just checking found somehow I had missed leaving a comment.
Grot and dereliction attract photographers because there is always an image to be had if you look hard enough and you picked your subjects very well just love the plant life growing through he front of the vehicles that in itself tells a tale,I love the background nice and dark but full of detail, wonderful image I so like as already said its cropped a little tight on the right but in a place like that it may not have been possible or safe to get a better angle and I might just drop the highlights a touch.
Well done, |

Hi Ella
I so remember the previous picture you posted from this trip and hoped you would post more, so pleased you have.
I like the way you have framed the view with the 2 trees and the bench fills the area lower right and is so important to the image, lovely detail in the climbing plant on the wall and the leafs on the tree.
My only suggestion the hedge lower left is a little dark I wondered if you opened up the shadows on it whether it might reveal a little more detail,I realise the lighting would not be great at that time of the day.

Hi Michael
If anyone wants a pictorial definition of dramatic I suggest they study this image.
Superbly processed and composed, the detail is top class detail throughout all the darker areas,I love the spray from the crashing wave leaving a mist across the rock face.
Its outstanding.

Hi John
I love the contrast on the building the strong low light was perfect to really accentuate the shape of the building, the gable end really stands out against the moody background. |
