Many thanks Guy the image was laid on a plate for me by this wonderful lady I was with Magaly and Colibri (Colibri is a hummingbird) in Manchester last Saturday at her invitation celebrating Day of the Dead and getting a wonderful education on its traditions and meanings and symbolism. |

Hi Erik
No sight of a bird on the wing,a bird feeding its young nor creating the young, but still a nature image of the highest quality, its moody and atmospheric love the suns rays cascading out and giving a warm natural glow to the landscape, the best part about this image is you could not only capture your own images as family but you were all together to share and capture the scene together. |

Hi Vella
What a wonderful nature image the early morning light has really given a wonderful glow to the animals fur which is fabulous I love the positions you have been able to capture the animals in,nice movement in the water and for me leaving in a touch of the background does not bother me in this image its all about the 3 Capybaras you were given a great opportunity and you so made the most of it. |

Hi Guy
This sounds like a wonderful trip, and by all the images you captured you have created memories,as always beautifully composed I love the way the village is lit contrasting so well with the moody sky and your fast shutter speed has done the job you wanted it to do.
I was also thinking of suggesting a letter box type crop but Gary has beaten me to it. |

Hi Bill
It never fails to amaze me how people can get such wonderful images of these tiny fast moving birds this is a fine example,DOF is spot on lovely lighting on the wings and rim light on the beak and a catchlight in the eye a shot to be proud of. |

Hi Isaac
What a beautiful building superbly captured but for me the ladies legs add an extra dimension a lot of photographers would have zoomed in to avoid them you did not you saw the picture very very unusual and I so so like it. |

Hi Gary
Well you fooled me this shot is so well put together I would never have known it was 2 images combined brilliant p.p.
You so deserve the quality of this image because you did not turn upon the night you did your research and and location scouting in advance a good shot as this proves is not just turning up and pointing a camera.
You got your reward well done |

Hi Ella
I love the designs on the vases and what they represent that in itself tells a story, the vase on the left is a fairly common form but the vase on the right with its curves and arcs contrasts beautifully with the vase on the left and also the positioning and curves of the threaded beads compliments the shape of the vase, this has been so meticulously thought out and arranged and given you a stunning still life. Kudos. |

Hi Peter
Probably like you I have seen so many pictures of Whitby Abbey all very similar I have never seen one from this angle before it so grabs your attention not only because of the quality but also because you have taken the time to check out the location look ay various positions and spotted this location and it so works.
I love the texture on the gravestones and the lighting on the Abbey is surreal.
Gold medal from me. |

Hi John
Your eye has come up trumps again I love the patterns created in the darker area, the contrast in the water is wonderful and works so well, the gull really makes the picture like the others I wonder if a slight crop putting the bird on a third might be the final touch, |
