Hi Erik
My comment was showing on my screen for last month so I honestly thought I had posted it again sincerest apologies Erik,Lesley was found to have a very mild heart condition is on daily medication as doing really well'
This window was between to newer buildings and the light was on it for a very short period each day being in such a beautiful location we wanted to be out early and back around sunset so I had only had one quick chance to get a shot of it. |

Hi Eric
Again not just a fabulous nature study but an education as well,as you said you are at eye level with the birds which makes for an even more powerful image.
The lighting on the birds is fantastic and they are pin sharp, may you not only continue to enthrall us with your mastery of nature photography but also continue to educate us on the subject |

Hi Vella
I hope you have a great holiday and get plenty of pictures to share with the group.
You wanted minamilism for me you achieved what you set out to do you have kept the contours that define what it is, left a touch of texture It well and truly works for me very very well done. |

Hi Guy
I immediately recognised the location from the photo you posted last month your main subject was the temple and you could just see the town tucked into the bottom of the cliffs on the cove, which proves if you visit somewhere scout out all the possibilities of the location.
A beautiful S curve leading the eye all the way through the picture as with all your pictures beautifully composed, you did a wonderful job with the container it blends in so well.
Is there more to come from this beautiful location?

Hi Bill
I so love shapes and patterns in images do this really appeals to me.
The contrast between the shadows and the lighter areas is so well handled,a really bold well composed mono image which I so like. |

Hi Isaac
A great piece of photojournalism as Gary has alluded to capturing the real world, this could have turned nasty so I am glad you left before there were any issues but you got your shot well done. |

Hi Vella
I was fascinated by wear that time and weather had done to the building and was so drawn to it a family portrait for you of the "Belties" Mums and calfs. |

Hi Isaac
Firstly I so hope you are safe with this awful hurricane bearing down on Florida I send my best wishes and thoughts to you and all the residents of the State.
I as I said to Gary was so taken by the years of weathering in this very isolated part of Scotland on the window I should have stood back and taken a second look. The advice so much appreciated and noted. |

I have a habit at looking for the smaller picture within the bigger offering I can now totally picture what you are saying and have learnt another lesson. |

Hi Gary
I think you picked the perfect time to photograph this beautiful building the wonderful colours of the sky have been taken on by the pure whiteness of the building.
I find this a very tranquil and soothing image the softness of the colours add to that feeling.

Hi Ella
So well spotted I love the vine on the left and branch and leafs on the right that hold the eye into the main subject that fabulous window which is acting as a mirror you stood in exactly the right place not only for the composition but to ensure the photographers reflection did not become part of the reflection not an easy thing to achieve.
I love it. |

Hi Susan
So glad you are well enough to return to the group and sending my very very best wishes.
I like this image there is so much to see you think you have seen everything have another look and spot something else, the contrast of various lights and darks mixed together makes each object stand out from the crowd so well spotted and well executed.
This is only my personal taste I have never been a fan of light vignettes as for me they draw the eye to edge of the photo that is purely my personal opinion but I do so like the image. |

Hi Ed
I worked in Belgium for a few years and visited many of the war grave cemetries in that country mainly WW.I graves as your picture shows they kept in a superb condition, for me you have handled the foreground shadows wonderfully there is detail throughout and contrasts really well with crosses in sunlight,I think this image is very sensitively composed and is a reminder what we owe to the Allied Forces. |

Hi John
Shapes and patterns in pictures you know I love images like this.
I love the way the textured glass changes with the lighting effect, for me very nicely cropped and a great angle it really flows, your roving eye worked again
