Hi Erik
Looking at this image it gives me a mood of quiet tranquility, isolation and being far far away from increasingly busy world we live in.
I actually like the lighting on the tree the shadows feel right in this context with the condition of the tree all I might suggest is top quarter LHS just bringing the luminance of the orange and yellows down a touch.
Very well seen and presented as always.

Hi Guy
I seem to remember you uploading another Church image which was very isolated not sure if it is the same one if so its taken from a totally different angle.
The perspective and composition are superb, the small bridge and flattened grass lead the eye straight to the Church, the left side of the horizon line is dotted with trees adding more interest, you have captured a beautiful English countryside scene to perfection. |

Hi Isaac
Until last month I had no idea these birds existed it would appear they are everywhere.
You have captured wonderfully animal behaviour the blurred feet does not bother me in the least as this highlights the speed and intensity of the confrontation as does the disturbance in the water and the water droplets flying through the air.
Fabulous colours this has everything going for it. |

Hi Gary
I think professor Staircase has a serious contender, I love shapes in pictures and this sits so well with me I think you have it just right in the image you have posted and the original both work for me, the colours sit so well together the lines flow beautifully your detour was so worth it and your choice of lying flat out on the floor paid dividends, its the sort of image I would have on my wall.
I agree with Guy on the mono I would just give it a touch more contrast. |

Many thanks Guy
I did wonder if the man on the far right was a distraction but as it is his scooter he has a right to be looking at me wondering if I would get up.
This is a Lambretta, my research shows Vespa made a series of scooters in this exact scheme for a pizza delivery company but as a single scooter can find no trace of anything else like this. |

Hi Ed
Yiu really have captured isolation with this image, wonderful textures and tones on the front tree and bench,as already said I would just tone down the whites a bit but a very thought provoking image for me. |

Hi Michael
I find this image to be very atmospheric almost dream like, the long exposure has really made the tree and the branches breaking the waterline the real focus of attention the lighter area in front of the trunk really adds to the image and is perfectly exposed.
This so works for me love it. |

Hi Peter
I had a similar occurence about 3 years ago trying to photograph a cruise liner leaving the Mersey on her Maiden voyage awful overcast flat skies just as she sailed the same thing happened its always worth waiting as you have proved.
The lighting is sublime I so love the wonderful contrast between the trees and the background fabulous detail throughout and as always beautifully presented. |

Hi John
Your magic eye strikes again, that tiny little twig is so important it just breaks the pattern and gives the eye something to settle on for a second I also love the small stones especially on the lighter areas again other areas of interest,John keep that eye of yours looking for the unusual I love seeing what you can make of the ordinary and making it extrordinary. |
