Hi Terri
Firstly really well seen and set up,love the way the lines on the sculpture point straight to the subject, wonderful contrast absolutely works for me just as it is. |

Hi Erik
I look at one of your images and think he can never improve on this and then you go and produce this, everything that needs to be sharp is pin sharp the fish in the perfect position the expression on the fish is beyond beleif, this is the sort of image I would expect to see in National Geographic.
Congratulations my friend. |

Hi Vella
So glad you re visited this wonderful image, beautiful reflections and the background so makes the Heron really stand out I like the way Isaac has just lightened the bird slightly as for the crop I like both so its your call, but Isaac is not called Dr Flip for no reason |

Hi Guy
If anyone needs a lesson in composition I suggest they take a long hard look at this image (members of this Group excluded from that comment)the placement of the ditch and church are perfect, the ditch carries the eye to all areas of the image wonderful colours an image that needs to be seen.
Vella asked the question I was going to ask about the age of the church it looks very very early and a beautiful survivor.
As a side note Lesley and I have just booked another weeks break in the Beautiful North Yorkshire staying in the same place we stayed 2 years ago mid April so will be in touch see if we can meet up. |

Hi Bill
So glad your surgery has benefitted your enjoyment of our colourful world, the screen looks stunning and as already said verticals and horizontals really true, the 2 trees either side of the screen really add balance to the image.

Hi Guy
I took several of this young lady from full length to this as the closest the hand was an oversight but the Doc picked up on it |

Hi Erik
Hope your recovery is continuing well,I took several of Bethany who was so generous with her time this was closest as I wanted to emphasise her eyes the hand was an oversight. |

Hi Isaac
Many thanks as always Bethany was kind enough to let me get several shots of her from full length to this the closest image I took concentrating on her almost doll like features and innocent look the hand was an oversight. |

Hi Isaac
What an opportunity not to be missed and you made the most of it,the background sits well with the image as it shows the enviroment and time of day and really sets the scene,I am with Guy on the equipment and footwear I would have wanted if it were me. |

Hi Gary
This is so atmospheric,I really love the layers of colours from top to bottom there is interest at every level and the houses give a breathtaking scale to this magnificent mountain as for cropping I see merit in all the versions but as the author of this beautiful image its your call. |

Hi Vella
Sublime still life the lighting on the horn is so well handled, wonderful detail in the darker areas,as always your skill in setting up these images says to me you could have a very successful career as an interior designer.
I believe the horn is a post horn and is used by the German postal service as their logo. |

Hi Susan
Love the fact you were thinking outside the box as you say everyone was looking at the front aspect but you studied the figures and saw the opportunity differently and for me it really works well, love the textures and patina on the figures and the bases and what I presume is blossom in the background adds wonderful contrast.
Well seen and presented. |

Hi John
The more I studied this the more it grew on me,whichever angle you look from all the branches point to the Robin, the darkest object against the lighter sky the Robin, nicely placed top third, very subtle but very very clever image in my eyes. |
