Hi Terri
Superb portrait lighting spot on eyes pin sharp and piercing, wonderful detail throughout,it may also look good in mono, only one nit pick and it is a nit pick as I look at it the silver button on the right hand side is a little bright and can take the eye I would just tone that down a touch,I love portraiture and this is top rank. |

Erik
You are the Grand Master of in flight bird photography,I echo every word said by Gary in his comments,I love the angle of the wings and the action frozen at the height of the confrontation.
One thing I would not like though is a peck from one of those beaks. |

Hi Vella
I can see merit in every image,I did prefer the tones of your original image as they sat better with the memorial and the somberness it represented, but having read your comment about the golden light then I see the image differently.
I like Garys crop and Eriks mono version.
One small Group just six people and we all see things differently to me thats wonderful if we all saw and liked things the same would'nt life be boring.

Hi Erik
I so use this Group / family to try things out on, everyone is honest in a positive and constructive way and above all full of helpful suggestions I can attempt something like this and be to close to it,it needs different eyes looking over my shoulder and lending their knowledge, experience and kindness.
I hope your recuperation is going well my friend you are very much in my thoughts. |

Hi Guy
I love the feeling and atmosphere you have created in this image the sky is so dramatic and adds so much to the image, the foreground lighting illuminating the various buildings and structures add natural contrast.
I love coastal images like this and this is one to be proud of. |

Hi Bill
The master weaves his magic again, the space left by the removal of the crane needed filling and what better to fill it with than the moon perfectly placed, the curve of the bridge span really takes the eye the length of the image taking in all the detail.
You have seen into the future and shown us how it will be when completed.
I hope my critique was relative enough to keep you within the Group 04 family. |

Hi Isaac
This just oozes peace, tranquility and being blessed by mother nature, the sky is breathtaking but to actually have witnessed that sunrise will I imagine live with you forever with the image reminding you of your time there.
You chose a great spot to take the shot the crop works so well get it printed and hanging on a wall. |

Hi Guy
As always thanks for your kind words,a couple of rainy Sundays ago I had time on my hands and wanted to try this for a while so spent an afternoon fiddling with it I actually attempted to put some shadowing behind it to try and make it look like it had not been just slapped on to another image,it kept me out of trouble for a couple of hours.
I actually think I have uploaded the wrong image to the Group as I deliberately lightened a copy for printing this is the one I have accidently uploaded I printed it this weekend for a forthcoming club comp and it has printed up a lot darker and moodier. |

Hi Ella
As always thank you so much for your kind words as for the eyes most Cos players wear coloured contact lenses to portray the character I have photographed Cos players with green eyes red eyes etc so she is probably wearing tinted contacts. |

Hi Gary
You could not have been closer to the action unless you were actually on the ice and for me you took full advantage of the opportunity.
What I love about this image is that every player is looking straight at the keeper so you know exactly where the puck is.
The action is frozen beautifully and this would make a real strong contender in any PJ competition. |

Hi Ella
Another superbly thought out and presented still life. The bright areas beautifully handled but for me the lighting of the folds on the draped cloth are magnificent creating patterns and depth within the folds, brilliant

Hi Susan
Love the contrast of the modern against the traditional clothing and a piece of social commentary,I agree with the others I would lift the shadows and drop the highlights. |

Hi John
A rural scene very commonly seen in this country, again you spotted a shot in something most of us would not have looked at twice, the 3 bales really well positioned in the frame the lone bale although at the top of the image gives a sense of depth to the right hand side, like it well spotted and presented. |
