Hi Erik
Firstly sending best wishes for continued progress in your recovery from surgery.
Are you sure your tools for the day were not an Easel with a canvas attached and a selection of paints because this is so pictorial its amazing.Love the lazy wake trail left by the boat,I naturally love the light aircraft thee cityscape like the entire picture is magical, the colours so delicate but effective this needs to be printed framed and so enjoyed.
Right I am going to put my anorak on I am pretty knowledgable about aviation not as Knowledgable as Guy your light aircraft is definately a Cessna initially I thought a 172 but the body looks a little chunky for that so its probably a Cessna 182 anorak off now. |

Hi Vella
Wonderful autumn colours which will soon be back with us,the colour of the house goes so well with the warm colours of the trees and is nicely placed in the frame,as suggested by the others there is more beauty to be brought out in that reflection and also I agree just tone the vibrancy down a touch,a great crop from the bigger picture and well presented. |

Hi Guy
Living on the coast I love these conditions where the tide line leaves the beach with a shallow coating of water and a strong sun acts like a mirror, the colours and there reflections really grab your attention but in this case do not over power the image, great separation and movement captured.
Isaac has beaten me to it I was also going to suggest a slight crop from the top.
Sending very best wishes and a hope that your back will start easing in the very near future. |

Hi Bill
If you could teach me how to do this I would keep your glass full of Bourbon.
Superb edit the texture selected sits perfectly with the character,as for Guys comments should he be looking at the camera I always prefer my subjects looking slightly into the distance as you have the model here I am fed up of hearing U.K judges say wonderful portrait would have been better if the subject was looking at the camera well not for me.
A wonderful study and an evening well spent with phone, friends and Bourbon. |

Hi Isaac
What a fabulous opportunity to get close to the action and for me you grabbed the opportunity with both hands,I must admit as soon as I saw it I had the identical thought to Guy crop down from the top to the top of the safety wall, you have good motion in the wheels yet retain every detail in the car which really makes it stand out from the background, another reason for me this so works is because the background colours and the colour of the car are very sympathetic to each other and do not clash,I think you have a great entry for a PJ comp. |

Hi Gary
When I saw this I had to look twice its very similar in design to Liverpool Central Library.
I so love shapes in images and this so works for me you positioned yourself ideally your eye can just sweep through the picture taking in every detail.
I do like the mono version but I just prefer this its vibrancy adds the final touch to the image. |

Hi Ella
As always great thought has gone into not only the set up but the items used,I especially like the wood grain effect on the small wooden box it is beautiful,my only nit pick I would like to have seen the top of the Brownie in its entirety but as always so well thought out and beautifully presented. |

Hi Peter
This looks almost 3D I feel I could reach out and touch the rocks in the foreground, the Church stands out so much as always wonderfully composed and presented. |

Hi John
A piece of social history captured,I would lift the shadows as suggested by Nick I think this would bring out a lot of detail and texture in the foreground bank and the timber in the stathes. |

Hi Diana
Really well lit and really sharp, though it does scream studio shot but a good one, your re-edit really works for me. My only nit pick on the re edit is the left leg as we look at it, has blended into the darkness below the knee. If you could lighten that a bit then it really works. |

Hi Isaac
This so made me chuckle I so love the expressions of the 4 passengers I am surprised the bike held their combined weight though looking at the front tyre you can see how much stress it is under.
Brilliant image and will do so well in either PT or PJ. |
