Hi Vella
For me all your hard work has paid dividends like Guy not a nature photographer not that I so not like nature photography I adore it but leave it to those who create unbeivable nature images such as my colleagues in this Group for us all to enjoy and marvel at.The quality of this image from such a large crop is outstanding and like the others love the warm tones you have introduced it really adds to the image.
Great job Vella.

Hi Guy
I send my sincerest best wishes for a speedy recovery, what a great idea taking an intimate view of various aspects of where you live,I also had thought of the crop but having seen it and I mean no disrespect to fellow Group members my choice is for the original image as it shows more of the enviroment of the building and sets them in there place it sits better with me I love the old gas lamp on the wall of the yellow building.
Great idea and for me a success. |

Hi Bill
This image absolutely blew me away the composition is outstanding the lighting perfect, the hiker on the edge of the opening gives the size and scale of the rock formations, the image is outstanding but I can only imagine how much better actually being there and seeing this first hand must have been. |

Hi Isaac
I fully understand your need to get into the right place to get the perfect angle last week we were in the Lake District I pulled up in a layby by the side of Lake Coniston trees partially interfering with the intended shot so scrambled about 8 feet down a steep bank with tripod on left shoulder camera bag over right shoulder with Lesley shouting I would kill myself, might put up the resulting image next month.
Back to the matter in hand the red and the blue are so strident just grab your attention but so compliment one another, leading lines from every area the landscape in the background perfectly placed within the span of the bridge it was so well worth your efforts.

Hi Gary
As someone who does not do nature I can only marvel at the quality of images taken by this group your image above included the crop is really good as it takes the eye straight to the frenzy of activity you have captured so well, the colours look really true and detail in all the whites I did not notice the spots on the left or the branch at the back as my eye was immediately taken to the main subject for me its a fabulous capture of nature in action. |

Hi Isaac
Modern times indeed some Cosplayers want to re create their chosen character as an exact replica some want to create their own take on it, this is the latter the piercings may well be her own style/fashion choice in real life the eyes are most certainly contact lens as favoured by many Cosplayers but she really stood out to me as a different character and was a dream to work with and a lovely young lady to chat with afterwards.
As a warning Isaac just before I went on my holidays I covered a Steam Punk gathering so be warned. |

The position and direction of the musician makes you follow his gaze and takes you into the image, really good detail mauntained in the darker areas and really nice textures. |

Hi Nik
I think you made the right call in converting this to mono it adds to the atmosphere of the image, the lake is really well framed by the foreground trees and sends the eye to the lake,I also like the line o trees in the lower foreground it gives a sense of depth, nice tones throughout I might consider a slight crop down from the top of the tree on the right.
A very atmospheric and pleasing image. |

Hi John
Your eye for shape and pattern has worked again you spotted this among the frenzy of the undergrowth,I was wondering if a little extra contrast would make it pop a little more so I added some and made a slight curves adjustment see what you think. |

Hi Barbara
I live on the very north western tip of a small peninsula and as you so rightly say the stunning coastal light and cloud formations can change in minutes if not seconds sometimes, the sky is amazing and what the picture is about the lighthouse is perfectly situated but not the star of the show in fact being in shadow for me adds contrast to the sky, this is beautifully handled, composed and presented image. |
