I contracted the flu virus 4 days before Christmas and felt pretty ill then was diagnosed with acute Covid on Christmas day don't remember much after that Eric for a week but I am thankfully now well on the way to a full recovery.

4 Jan 23 Comment Hi Vella
First my very best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I'm in the snow looks white on my monitor faction, love the wonderful deep orange colours against the snow it really makes the subject stand out, beautiful tones and contrast in the animals coats really well handled and no hot spots in the snow,I like your position as you can see how the calf is snuggled in and is looking straight into your lens which really works for me.

4 Jan 23 Comment Hi Guy
For me this is as good as it gets shutter speed perfect, the shapes created by the water hitting the rocks on the way down is magical and entrancing, but for me the luminace created takes it to another level,I so love the rock lower left at the bottom of the waterfall, for me change nothing but above all get it printed I repeat its as good as it gets.

4 Jan 23 Comment Hi Bill
Unfortunately I cannot open the original file Gary posted, but I know from your talent with PP you will have transformed an ordinary image into something spectacular and this my friend is spectacular,I especially love the way you have made the balloons reflection copy the movement in the water,I have a solution for no pilot maybe he has just dropped his compass and is bending down to pick it up when you snapped the shutter, mystery solved.

The quality of nature images from this Group never fails to amaze me,also your eyesight to spot this scene from what have must been a great distance, considering the crop you have made and the the ISO the quality is wonderful,so glad you revisited this file.

4 Jan 23 Comment Hi Isaac
Progressing quite well thank you so much.
I must look up Wall -E and hope I do not get sued by Pixar, the bokeh lights in the background are created by the office lights in the famous Liver Building in the background.

Many thanks for your good wishes my recovery seems to be progressing well but slowly but if I look at where I was a week ago then yes I am certainly progressing well.
I took several of this installation in various shapes and colours but kept coming back to this one.

4 Jan 23 Comment Hi Gary
What a beautiful sunset and worth grabbing the I phone and camera you have created a memory, the colours are wonderful,I agree with Guy I would crop a little of the bottom and open the shadows a touch, remember no two sunsets are ever the same so keep the camera and phone to hand each evening.
