Hi Gary
Many thanks for your advice the sky crop works for me but I do not want to flip it as I intend to see how it does in P.T. so I can only make basic adjustments nothing major. |

Erik
Come clean I suspect this shot is a set up I bet you swam over the gator placed the leaf on his head then swam back thats cheating.
Seriously Erik you take pics of grizzly bears, gators you have no fear, and produce the most amazing nature images I echo everything my learned group members have already said about this image its magnificent but the leaf on the head takes it to another level for me, bet you thought all your birthdays had come at once. |

Hi Vella
I so like this its a totally different viewpoint of the tower than we normally see,the trees in the foreground really add to the image for me,as an aviation photographer it break my heart to say this but the contrail really draws the eye and like Guy I would remove it.Great job from a bus open topped or not lovely to see the tower from a different viewpoint and it works for me. |

Hi Guy
Think I am the only member of the Group who has not tried nature well I have but lets move on,wonderful detail in the foreground contrasting superbly with the out of focus background.
The birds are so sharp detail in every single feather this is so worthy of sitting alongside the images of the fellow nature photographers in this group, its fabulous. |

Hi Isaac
The groups ability to capture the most stunning nature images never fails to astound me,obviously you were back a long way so as not to disturb the birds but also the use of an 800mm tells me that, the sharpness is outstanding the strong colours beautifully handled and you have caught the moment outstanding image. |

Hi Isaac
I have lived by the River Mersey all my life and know how and incoming tide can change the weather but I have never experienced an incoming tide as rapid as the one into Scarborough harbour it races in and boy when its on the move it really increases the the power of the wind about 20 minutes after I took this picture there were guys out on surfboards. |

Hi Guy
I was hoping actually to arrange to meet you if you were available but I also knew you had been unwell so did not want to put you out and decided against as I want you to fully recuperate, but Lesley and I fell in love with the area and have vowed to go back hopefully next year and I promise if we do you and Paula are top of the agenda. |

Hi Gary
A moody atmospheric and above all tranquil image, love that you have kept the horizon line above the old jetty posts, lovely textures and detail in the posts. While everyone else was snoring in their beds you had this stunning scene all to yourself how wonderful is that. |

Hi Ella
If I were in surroundings like this a whole flock of eagles could fly past me and I would not notice them its breathtaking,my opinion I would leave well alone the foreground gives wonderful depth to the image, tonally superb the light on the distant mountains is beautifully handled and gives wonderful definition, then the clowning glory the cyclist,do yourself a big favour Ella get it printed framed and on your wall and return to that moment you took it every time you look at it. |

Hi Nick
I concur with my fellow group members you succeeded in your brief great spot by Ella about the grass, wonderful tones and textures on the bodywork of the vehicle, like Peter I thought the mudguards could just be toned down a little further, the panel between the door and the engine cover has a great tone if you could get the mudguards close to that tonal range it would be fabulous. |

Hi John
As already said no one aware of your prescence so a totally natural image, the part of the image that was taking my attention was the hand coming from behind the pillar,I liked Ellas suggestion of cropping out the pillar and the hand so I covered that area with a book and for me it really tightened up the composition just a thought. |
