You never fail to amaze me, your love of your subject so shines through in all your nature shots.The 3 main colours so compliment each other the disturbance in the water adds to the sense of action of the birds another masterpiece Erik.

You know I love shapes and colours in images this so works for me like you I would have taken lots and lots of images from different angles,I love looking at a piece of architecture and going in close to look for shapes and try and capture them, on a building like this it could have been quite bewildering but boy you got this spot on,has the surgeon sent the bill yet for the makeover of the shadow hope you have insurance. Absolutely pin sharp from back to front love the range of warm colours on the barn,the crop is a little tight but it certainly cuts out any distractions.I like Vellas idea with that sky it may really look good in black and white as well.		 May 25th

4 May 22 Reply I now know how lucky Guy is to live in this stunningly beautiful area of England I did not get as far North as Guy but myself and Lesley are determined we will return there and hopefully next time we will visit different areas of the County. May 23rd

Im back from 8 wonderful days in beautiful North Yorkshire and you invited me to comment if back in time.
As the others have commented the light is not at its best but actually I think this so lends something to this image the colours are muted and this allows the subtle colours in the image to stand out but not scream at you,wonderful movement wing position perfect,love the drips and ripples in the water which break it up,the more I look at this the more I realise this is a very powerful image I so love the grace but above all the subtly you have captured.
