Hi Erik
Well my friend I echo everything said about this image especially by Gary, the colours are so rich and wonderful and sit so well together but for me its the composition if you are trying to teach someone composition I would just show them this picture and say now thats what I'm talking about, did you pick up the rocks and move them to were you wanted or do you just have a great eye.
Enjoy your canvas you deserve to.

Hi Bill
Loved the comment and I never left my sofa.
As already said beautiful rendition you would swear it was a a painting on a canvas, love the subtlety of the leaf at the bottom of the image, and the whites beautifully handled my only nit pick to a fabulous image for me the border is a little overpowering but thats probably me. |

Hi Isaac
I am so jealous twice over, an image I wish I had taken and a museum I would so love to visit I have seen so many photos of the aircraft on the flight deck covering the history of U.S. carrier borne Naval aviation.
You were there at a fabulous time of day and made the most of it love the way the light is hitting the starboard side of the ship it absolutely glows, using a bracketed exposure you can see virtually every plate on the vessel you have created a fabulous memory of a fascinating day. |

Hi Diana
this one goes back so long I remember very little I normally always use opacity, the spiders web was just me playing with various distortion filters until I found an effect I liked,I think I created the black as a seperate background and starting adding various layers to it, as for the eyes might have a go but liked the skull effect the red in the eyes was from one of my texture images from a painted wall I photographed with paint drips in and rather liked the effect it created.

Hi Gary
I have to agree with Vella the colour image is interesting the mono version has a real impact and really lets you concentrate on the wonderful curves of the building love the contrast its spot on for me the time of day has contributed to that.
As for the tree Bill has stolen my thunder I was thinking we we have another Doctor in the group, the only way I could ever have removed that tree from the image would have been to take a chain saw to it and then take the photo.
I really really like everything about this image. |

Amaxing structure really well captured the rail is a great leading line I am happy withe orientation either way but Ellas contrast boost has really given it some punch. |

Hi Nick
This image really works in mono, love the cloud just over the right hand side ,really good detail in the darker areas I find the snow on the left a little bright and would tone that down a bit and I like Peters crop. |

Hi Peter
what a moody and atmospheric image of this much photographed castle for me no crop required as the mountains to the left swoop down to meet the castle and all fits so well together wonderful foreground and a sky to die for as said seen so many images of this castle but non better. |

Hi John
Its a perfect PT shot people working on a traditional art / craft.
I agree the image you have posted is a little flat and needs either a slight levels or contrast boost but as Peter says not
too much.
My personal thought is it only needs a little adjustment as is well worth persevering with. |
