Hi Erik
As Guy intimated what would be an outstanding nature shot for most photographers is the norm for you, exposure spot on tones so compliment the image, the action frozen in time and animal behaviour another winner for me,thanks for sharing. |

Hi Vella
Like all the others a new species to me, their head feathers look just like my hair first thing in the morning.Really nice grouping and well taken from a moving boat especially with such a big lens.As Guy commented I like this little compact group it also shows behaviour great colours which stand out nicely from the background,I think I would have preferred it without the vignette. |

Hi Guy
Whether this idea was pre planned or done quickly as the scene developed to me its genius, though you did have the perfect remedy for success a young lady looking at her phone you could probably have got her pin sharp with a 30 minute exposure,I love the concept the execution presentation and above all the originality, an alternative title "time waits for no man". |

Hi Bill
As already said great composition the fallen trees lead the eye from from side to side in the mid ground wonderful colours that so compliment each other, wonderful textures on the tree trunks , a beautiful image that makes us wish for the warmer sunnier days will soon be back with us.

Hi Gary
Your time waiting for your friends was very well spent I love shapes in images and looking at buildings and seeing if I can make an image from a small part of the architecture.
Everything about this so appeals to me all the intersections the angles the light and shade detail in the shadows and the sky is just what you wanted,I absolutely love it.
I love creating mono conversions and I am also in a mono group I always tend to go a bit overboard with contrast as its how I like my monos not too everyones taste so I popped your image into Photoshop and upped the contrast a touch though you do lose the details in the shadows just my take on it. |

Hi Ella
Hope your healing fast as you did previously as always I send my very best wishes.
As always a wonderful set up I am fascinated by the object on the left the range of tones and detail you have captured is astonishing this would make a great image on its own, wonderful lighting and background especially love the lighting on the cloth or silk scarf behind especially on the folds.

Hi Ed
When I first looked at it I thought is it a photo or a pencil sketch so your interpretaton convinced me.The lead in from the bottom left and forming ? around the image just leads the eye through the image is as good as anything I have seen.I actually like it as it is,I might slightly darken a couple of the highlights but your call as far as I am concerned. |

Hi Nick
For me you have captured the stillness and tranquility mist over water produces,I like the way the branches of the left hand tree on the far bank point and almost join the foreground tree framing the image nicely and drawing the eye to the far bank.
I am with Ed I would just like to see a touch of detail in the darker areas.A very pleasing and relaxing image. |

Hi Peter
just looking at your image conveys the cold, love the way the mist on the right blends the ground and sky and dissipates towards the left, giving a sense of depth,as always so well composed but I find myself continually drawn in a good way to were misty sky and ground meet. |

Hi John
The more I look at this the more the simplicity of the image appeals to me, your eye never fails you. I would not have given this a second glance and for me boy it works I might just crop the tiniest amount off the bottom I would though just give the sky a touch of contrast well seen and well presented as always John. |

Hi Tom
Fooled me when I first looked at it and I specialise in aviation photography, though more than happy to point my lens at anything.A little information if your interested the aircraft is a McDonald Douglas Phantom and the tail code SL denotes Lambert Ait Force Base St Louis.
It works for me.
