Hi Piers
Superb image you have captured movement stealth and attitude in a single image, you have 2 great images as I think the mono image is as good if not better. |

Hi Erik
Another amazing nature shot by you, the lighting looks very very harsh and you have done so well to get the exposure as near perfect as possible, love the vibrancy of the image and the intimacy of the shot and you have left enough room to show the enviroment.
I actually photographed a moorhen or a coot recently (not sue which) in some magical lighting I might post it next month and do the lighthouse the month after.
I am sure Mother Mooorhen would love a copy of your image for her family album. |

Hi Vella
I'm going to disagree with my learned friend Gary and say the first thing that hit me was the crop is spot on but if we all liked the same thing wouldn't life be boring,I love to look for the smaller picture within the larger one, there is a fantastic flow throughout the picture wonderful movement not only from the water but the way you have composed the position of the various rocks wonderful detail and texture even in the darker areas I agree with Guy just a touch darker on the right side and the very bottom left hand corner, but oh my word this so works for me well done. |

My word what funny weather you had in North Yorkshire.
Something new to all of us I think Guy but isn't it good to step outside your comfort zone and try something new and you get immersed in it as you did.
I.R. or standard its a superb composition love the effect you have created especially on the people they fascinate me.
All power to your experimentation really like it. |

Hi Bill
Loved the first image wasn't sure how you could beat that, but I think you have and that my friend is not demeaning the other image which was fabulous, the colour palette is only small but the toning, light and shadows within the image give a real depth, the church looks cavernous and you have done so well to go from floor to roof line. Another wonderfully detailed image of this beautiful Church. |

Hi Gary
Like you if there is an event on I love taking in the whole scene not just the main event, you obviously ghosted around as no one is aware of you (though I think it would have taken a lot to distract the young couple) everyone in the background is going about their business in a totally natural manner, a great record of what goes into the preparation behind these events. |

Hi Guy
Thanks for the kind words I promise 4.45 does still exist though I paid for it later in the day but to sit there with a flask of tea with just the gentle lapping of the incoming tide and watching nature paint its canvas with not another soul in sight did me a power of good. |

Hi Isaac
Thank you so much for the kind words the ship was only launched in February this year she is one of 6 currently operating out of Liverpool they can only cruise in U.K. waters and no more than a thousand on board per cruise under current U.K. Covid restrictions. |

Hi Ella
another wonderfully imaginative still life from you I have no idea where you get your inspiration but every one is not only different but so well thought out,I love the texture on the face of the shelf contrasting with the darker backdrop but lit so pattern detail can still be seen, the toys are thoughtfully spaced and angled and I think a child would love this in their bedroom or nursery,my only point Ella I find the white on the bears paws and nose a touch bright not blown as there is detail I would just take those areas down a touch, can't wait to see what you come up with next. |

Hi Ed
I have to agree with the others the detail and texture surrounding the pool is fabulous even the cascades of water into the pool so work its just that pool of water at the front because of the strong current has lost definition and mono so suits the image so well,if I have a shot like this I take several at different shutter speeds and see which one works. |

Hi Peter
What can I say the image is is outstanding but I imagine its only a fraction of the effect of being present and watching natures display in person.
As always beautifully composed wonderful tonal range a majestic image. |
