It does make it zing I only have CS6 which 9 times out of 10 does everything I need but I must admit I would love the de haze function. |

Hi Erik
Your nature shots are always a delight to my eyes this one has left me open mouthed the bird itself is startling, but to get the complete arc of water from beak to the lake is a one in a million and you my friend nailed it,for me the gloss on the feathers does not bother me at all, this image would grace any magazine or nature publication.WOW |

Hi Vella
Its a must be entered from me, it fits every criteria of the comp and do not be surprised if you don't walk away with an award.
So sorry you were hustled and bustled where is peoples respect but so glad you managed to get this image .
Your framing is ideal you show the mans hands and the piece he is making nothing else nothing to distract, you have captured purely what needed to be captured you have told a story and illustrated a craft, this also fits the bill for photojournalism, fabulous image. |

Hi Guy
Like you I know the weather vagaries of the Lake District so well, usually huddled under an umbrella but like you the beauty and ultra fresh air draw you back with anticipation I know exactly the sort of day you describe and congratulate you on getting so much out of this image, the sapling and the bush really balance the image and the distant hills shrouded in the usual, cloud you have so captured the essence of the Lakes. |

Hi Bill
I also have a Samyang 8mm fisheye which I rarely use but at times it is invaluable but I have never been able to manage a shot without some form of distortion.
Magnificent church wonderfully captured stunning detail the HDR has really made it pop a superb image. |

Hi Isaac
It may well be associated with LGBTQ but having posted the image on Instagram I got a lovely complimentary message from one of the 4 creators of the bridge saying that after a storm we often get a Rainbow then the sun shines so this was to symbolise light after the stormy 12 months we have all endured. |

Hi Gary
As always the groups observations are very much appreciated,I was in 2 minds about the foreground I had lifted the foreground shadows a little to give an idea of the people as I wanted the Rainbow bridge to be the main subject but it is so strong in the picture I could well lift the shadows more as always this group gives me food for thought many thanks Gary.
As I side note I posted this image on my Instagram account #ianchant1304 and got a lovely message from from one of the four creators of the bridge who was extremely complimentary about the image which was so kind of him |

Hi Isaac
What an unusual and well seen shot love the way the arc of the foam meets up with the arc on the shell and if you like completes the circle, the fast aperture is perfect and so concentrates the eye on the subject an image that so works for me. |

Hi Gary
What a lead in, the HDR process has really emphasised the fall colours the 2 rock faces either side of the river just hold the eye to the waterfall, then up to the bridge and that wonderful train as the fall colours are so strong I feel the sky fits in with the rest of the image and does not overpower the image.
This is a brilliant piece of composition everything is in the right place and carries the eye very easily around the image. |

HI John
I think lockdown has made us all review and find new things close to hand to photograph think I have photographed each and every texture inside and outside the house to add to portraits, you have absolutely nailed this fabulous movement in each image the only colour is that from fruits and concentrates the eye and superbly presented,it has it all for me. |

Hi Ella
So glad you went rooting in the back catalogue, your description made me shiver just reading it,so glad you braved it though.
Beautiful tones throughout you have handled the whites in the glacier so well, the mist//low cloud adds atmosphere and the foreground is broken up with the floating ice.
Hope you realise how worthwhile your dedication proved. |

Hi Paul
This so has winner written all over it,fantastic expression the pose so makes it peeping cheekily around the tree,as every good portrait needs the eyes are pin sharp, one I and a lot of others would love to have taken. |

Hi Ed
Fabulous composition that so suits mono I love the way the patterns in the eye lead the eye from bottom right then the slightly darker mid ground and the distant hill sweep right across. The lighting on the far hills is magical and the sky is the icing on the cake.
You so made the most of your opportunity stunning image. |

Hi Michael the crop so makes it for me,exposure wise an incredibly difficult image to pull of and for me you did it there is nothing out of everything sits really well within the image and an important record of social history for me. |

Hi Peter
Normally a shot like this would not over appeal to me but I love the way the mid ground has that slightly darker tonal range through it that adds contrast and interest to it for me,as well as viewing this from directly in front of the screen I have viewed it from about 6 feet away and that midground really makes the plant stand and adds depth to the image if you pardon the pun its grown on me. |

Hi John
I also love silhouettes I do find this a little unbalanced I was wondering if you cropped it in from the right to just short of the last branch losing that dead space may just strengthen the image and the sky would still be visible through the branches. |

Hi Raymond
I am so drawn to this because of the composition,as the road bends away the eye is taken straight to the tree,I actually like the lighting as it is it adds an atmosphere a moodiness to the image,I think this would also look really good in mono as well |
