Hi Mary Sue
I imagine there was a lot to see in the workshop but your eye has picked out a brilliant composition you have presented it beautifully the composition for me is brilliant love the textures and the wear on the items a simple but compelling image. |

Hi Vella
I like it as it is,amid the chaos and and riot of colour there is structure in it,fore mid and background all on different levels all with their own points of interst and the ramp from the beach to the street level really carries the eye from mid to background so it works very well for me the more you look the more you see.
On an historical note there was a tragic loss of life within my lifetime when the Mousehole lifeboat capsized going out in awful weather to assist a ship in diffuculty and all the brave Lifeboat crew were lost may their souls rest in peace. |

Hi Guy
Great spot and hats off to Joe for spotting the lady I went to talk by a photographer who spends several months every year on the Scottish Islands and photographs the sand imprints left by the tide they were incredible, and this is up there with them Guy well seen and a joy to view.

Hi Isaac
I love images like these they are not only good travel shots and wonderful personal memories they are educational as I had no idea anything like this went on in the world I must admit it did make me wince so your image has managed to get a reaction from me something all good images do. |

Hi Joe
As already said amazing quality at the ISO,I think the way you have composed the image so well the vases sit very comfortably within and compliment the image, but what Dr Staircase will have to say about you moving into his domain I dread to think.
Wold love to see some more images in the future from this amazing building. |

Hi Vella
Thanks for your comments I decided to leave the crop as I liked the ships on the horizon heading into port but I so take your point and will most certainly re visit it,I do have an admission to you and Larry I did remove one object the lifeguards bright yellow jetski which was on the beach in front of the fort, boy did it take the eye but the lifeguards have to be seen. |

Hi Ella
You have so mastered still life I love the contrast of the lightness of the feather and the strength of the metal incredible texture recorded on the watch, and superbly lit, a master class in still life. |

Hi Paul
A very emotive portarit the stick also tells a story and the angle sits so well within the frame and the textures of the wall are perfectly handled. |

Hi Michael
An absolutely stunning image beautifully composed and your choice of tint is the finishing touch, sadly the building is no longer there but lives on in your image, since being in the group you have treated us to some wonderful images but this is my favourite so far. |

Hi John
Glad you delved into the archives to show this it gives a taste of what things were like in the days of the mines I agree with Ella its unfortunate the photographer in the background is stood between the 2 engines but I imagine the area was swarming with photographers,I rather like the darker areas as it gives an idea how grubby and sooty everything would have been. |

Hi Isaac
This threw me you popping up in this group. Thanks as always for your words I did actually get a lot out of the trees as they were in silhouette but wanted to leave them darker with some texture showing to make it more of a shape shot but will certainly lighten and have a look as is the consensus of opinion. |

Thanks Peter
I did not notice the Halos and will correct I have returned to work and have been rather rushed I wanted some detail in the tree trunks but also wanted to leave them a little darker I will address the blocked area, as always much appreciated. |
