Hi Vella
You have a mound of suggestions so I am not going to add to them,I did think a crop down might help which Bill has done already the footprints do not bother me as everything can't look pristine all the time I would rather shoot things as they are because thats part of the memory they create.I actually like all versions, you have portrayed a very harsh enviroment really well. |

Hi Guy
I am so glad you are back on staircases but not as glad you moved into my manor and pinched one of mine.
Seriously along with the staircase at the Museum of Liverpool my favourite staircase to photograph.I was fortunate enough to be invited to the re-opening of the Museum after its multi million pound rebuild about 5 years ago and it just takes your breath away as for the image you have captured it perfectly and so done it justice.I have had many acceptances with similar images. |

Hi Bill
This is all new to me but I love finding out about concepts and ideas new to me.
The image is incredibly sharp and the fine detail is extrordinary the more I look the more I see, beautifully composed and presented and one I keep going back to. |

Hi Isaac
As you said this must be the most photographed church in the world but everyones take on it is different as are the weather conditions, the grave stones are a great lead in the low angle really suits this the wide angle shows the enviroment around the church its a very dark atmospheric day with that in mind if it were mine I would just tone the grass down either in brightness or saturation also this image could be perfect for black and white conversion as well as well.

Hi Joe
A place I have always wanted to visit this is what I call an intimate shot you have selected a small section from a larger one and captured it and very very well the staircase gives movement and flow I love the contrast between the smooth surface on the left and the detailed area on the right well spotted and presented. |

Hi Mark
I so love intimate shots of buildings especially where shapes are involved so this really floats my boat, beautifully composed looking at it I wondered if a touch more contrast would bring the shapes out even more so I opened it in Raw upped the highlights very slightly increased the shadows and contrast slightly.
For me a top image really well seen. |

Hi Ella
My word you get around,I have never visited death valley but watched many documentaries of the area and you have captured the bleakness and isolation of the area really well, great lead in and fantastic swirls and curves in the foreground to draw the eye in great textures in the mountains and perfectly cropped. |

Hi Ed
Great composition well handled tremendous reflection your re edit adds the final touch, something beyond your control but it would have been good it there was a boat or something like on the river just to stop the eye.But really tranquil and pleasing image.

Hi Ed
The beaches on the river Mersey had become devoid of sand due to the energy and strength of the tides they had become just solid stone and rock about 10 years ago the local council appointed engineers to build several of these groynes in strategic places to trap the sand we now have some absolutely beautiful beaches because of the skill of the engineers and the effect of these groynes this one is the biggest of all of them and is fully submerged at high tide here is a link to the full story you can see the massive difference made by them

Hi Michael
Another intimate image of these amazing rocks and their decorations again really well composed and presented the lighter areas do not bother me too much but a few small dark areas could maybe be lifted a touch, but you can only work with the lighting conditions on the day, another important capture of social history. |

Hi Peter
I am not sure how long it took you to spot this composition but it is perfect the shape of the foreground and the bank on the left leave the perfect space for the reflection to sit within just visually and compositionally stunning. |

Hi John
Your amazing eye strikes again before I read your description I had it narrowed down to three 1 close up of a mop,2.close up of the hair of a surfer girl,3. unfocused hay bale,so it shows you what I know,I love it its soothing relaxing flowing and mysterious like Peter top left could do with darkening for my taste but otherwise love it.
