Hi Erik Like Guy and Paula myself and Les are very disappointed but everyones health and well being have to be paramount.
Thought on first glance you had been on one of your nature shoots and had found a previously never before photographed bug
a fearsome looking fellow or maybe Isaac needs to update my prescription.
I love the the tones and textures left by years of use and the weather the light background does not bother me as my eye goes straight to the main subject.Like Isaac it looked a little soft to me but may need to see my optician as well. |

As I say Erik the obvious was staring me in the face the content aware tool and it did a fantastic job, my sincerest wishes Erik to you and your family for their well being. and safety in these awful times. |

Hi Velma
A really warm welcome to this wonderful group from a rather cloudy England today stealing Guys line.
Guy has put my thoughts into words living next to the River Mersey and spending a lot of time on the river I know how difficult it is getting a good sharp image of something much larger than this you have done a fantastic job yes the leaf maybe a distraction but it also shows the birds enviroment and the upper bird is in my opinion strong enough to take the eye straight to it.Hope you enjoy this group as much as I do. |

Hi Guy
I think you have used your lockdown time very constructively I got lost after copy background layer, love shapes and tomes in pictures so I find this really pleasing your original is a great image in its own right and one I also really like. All power to your creativity.
Just thought looking again is this a subliminal advertising message for a certain Burger chain that sounds a little like McDonalds ? |

Hi Bill
Always loved this picture and wow another stunning version the truck never bothered me that much before but the process does seem to have really have deepened the saturation as the others if that was toned down a bit it would really concentrate the eye on the main subject. |

Hi Isaac
I love shots like these most of us would never notice this so
well done for spotting this and knowing what you were going to do with it.You have made it very atmospheric love the textures and maybe an image of hope for the present day a little bright area starting to grow from the darkness. |

Hi Guy
The original crop remains as the obvious was staring me in the face although I only have CS6 the content aware tool did a fabulous job as for the stem I agree it is directly behind the flower and to get it in I would have had to stand on some of the landadies other plants and picking up that porcupine would be preferable to what she would do to me if I had done that. |

Hi Ella
I send my best wishes for your health and safety.
I think you have found your niche but knowing you you will take up another genre of photography and master that.
I think the hardest part of any still life is the composition and you have so mastered that, the the lighting, tonal range and composition are exquisite well done Ella
Take care |

Hi Michael
Love the effect IR gives this image fantastic lighting and detail in the trees I think Peters removal of the cows on the right has really balanced it up but a really pleasing image. |

Hi Isaac
You have so captured the character of this lady the vibrant colours contrast beautifully against the white clothing and the background just adds the final touch brilliant portrait. |

Hi Leah
You did so well to notice this and isolate it the fast aperture helps as well, really well composed and it looks like you have used a split tone which really adds to the image well done and enjoy your new group. |
