Hi Gut
I have been so lucky to have seen many of your images from this night shoot and you really made the most of that trip, the contrast is outstanding and for me tonally perfect love the angle you shot the image from just off centre this so works for me. |

Hi Bill
even as a youngster you had that eye for a composition this image says to me isolation and loneliness just my take but any good image provokes a reaction and this is very well seen and composed image, as a 14 year old I was lucky my school had a fully equipped dark room which I used every lunch break and at weekends well I'm afraid my Mother lost her bathroom for a couple of hours and that was 47 years ago. |

Hi Paul
A very emotive image well handled very well converted to mono the white bags could be a distraction but I find my focus fixed on the main subject. |

Hi Ed
We have one of the largest banks of offshore turbines off the coastline I live on and have often had a go at shooting them at sunset one of those images was pretty successful for me. The crop at the top is just a bit tight but that depends how much space you had to move a little further backwards love the portrait orientation quite narrow but shows off their height its a great capture to me showing their power very well exposed.
I am in Peters camp I always use 2 pixel white border always inside so not to increase image size in fact every image I do I add a 2 pixel border as for colour borders there are several judges on our club circuit who will mark you down for coloured borders they do not like them so be careful. |

Hi Michael
What a visually striking piece of work contrast is stunning and the lighter face of the rock face leads the eye so well from lower left all the way through the frame this is also a historically important image as we must keep records of valuable national and International works of tradition and folk lore for future generations. |

Hi John
Really well composed love the reflections and the movement in the water perfectly exposed in what looks like a very bright and sunny day. |

Hi peter
As always composition is absolutely spot on I actually think the granularity adds atmosphere to the sky in the context of this mage and I like it for me a very very powerful image.

Hi Ed
Yes I left the lower area dark for contrast how I saw it but an image I like this image is always going to cause debate we all see things differently and would'nt life be boring if we all saw things the same way. |

Hi Sarah
Love everything about this image the sweeping curves of the dunes almost matched by the clouds and the masterstroke the lone tree but just one thing in my eyes just needed doing which was alluded to in an earlier comment it needed for me a letterbox crop to really focus the eye on the main subject so I did a crop and just a touch of burning on the brightest point on the clouds see what you think you are the author of the image and know how you want it its just my take on it but love the image. |
