Hi Erik
This is just like a painting the colour palette is gorgeous the birds are striking they add a dash of colour to a beautiful background the near most birds are so sharp I feel I could almost touch them this deserves to do so so well for you this group is blessed with some very very talented wildlife photographers and for me this image is right up there with the best we have been lucky enough to enjoy. |

Hi Erik
Thanks for your help and advice as always very much appreciated this will never be used a competition shot but for the committees archive so as a true record the lamp posts have to stay but can I say you did a fantastic job of removing them and it does look so much better. |

Hi Thomas
As always a top quality image from you the motion blur is expertly added and to perfection the positioning of the 2 girls heads really lifts this picture you have captured intensity and determination brilliantly and the print so deserves its rightful place in the exhibition. |

All is right with the world Guy is back to staircases and again has proved the grand master of this subject.
Guy as always your location was well chosen the intimate way you have isolated this section of the staircase is superb I was wondering if you could crop down slightly from the top but Isaac has beaten me to it and I love the way Isaacs crop has really added even more isolation to the figure.
I would imagine Guy you could put an amazing panel together from your staircase images. |

Hi Beverley
Absolutely no offence taken the increase in numbers year on year of people attending this particular service is amazing and very gratifying especially to the relatives of all those we come to remember |

Hi Bill
What an experience this must have been to see and feel this monster thundering towards you at full steam and boy have you captured the drama of the moment composition is spot on with the train placed perfectly in the frame as you said it just had to be a mono image I can see you having a lot of well deserved success with this image. |

Hi Beverley
It is the third year I have been asked by to organising committee to build an archive it is a job where stealth is of the greatest importance as I have to totally respect the solemnity of the ocassion and ghost around I have a special tabbard marked with the words official photographer so for me its important I capture the enviroment and surroundings of this current time because as we know towns are changing all the time due to re developement but excitement no solemnity and total respect yes. |

Hi Joe
Fantastic spot and for me perfect composition I am always looking at reflections and am amazed how many people walk around with their heads pointing groundwards they miss scenes like this so many things to see and take in and great shapes within the image.
One think would look really good printed and framed. |

Hi Guy
If I was Captain Mannering I would reply "I wondered who would be the first to notice that" it was totally the opposite Guy it was a low very bright sun all day which was troublesome I must admit your crop from the bottom is an improvement as always thanks for your help. |

Hi Stephen
Thank you for your kind words ans I always so appreciate peoples input into my work it is so helpful the reason I did not crop it further is the fact it is for an archive for future generations so wanted to show the enviroment of the time as we all know towns change over the years but I agree for general use a closer crop would be better for other purposes. |

Hi Ella
I was in on the secret of your visit and have been so keen to see the results of our trip from this image it looks like you made the most of your visit the composition for me is spot on tonally superb the left hand bush does cut in a bit but also it seems to my eye to blend in rather well the enormity of the mountain range is superbly captured and represented in this image and the sky just adds that extra drama I can't wait to see more from this trip of a lifetime. |

Hi Ed
I can only echo the other group members comments fantastic image that so works for me the tree ideally placed the fence really holds your attention and takes you straight to that wonderful tree I love the way the fence then disappears over the crest of the rise that is a great touch and the title sits so well with the image a very well thought out and presented image. |

Hi John
This image proves you have had that amazing observers eye for a long long time I agree with Peter maybe a touch more contrast and just brighten it slightly I might even crop it up from the bottom to the second dark line fantastic patterns diagonal works a treat and the steps break up the pattern and add a focal point and so much interest keep those eyes peeled John so love your take on photography. |

I was told the bell is called a gremlin bell and usually given to the rider by a loved one to keep demons and gremlins away and keep the rider safe I so love learning new things. |
