Hi Harry
What a superb and successful conversion to mono I so love the contrast between the foreground and the Taj I love the treatment of the Taj it looks like its rising out of the mist in my humble opinion leave it exacly as it is superb atmospheric image. |

Hi Erik
Another masterclass in nature photography something that abounds in this group and is such a pleasure to see I have to admit the leaves did not bother me I was totally fixated by the colours of the butterfly and the incredible sharpness you took full advantage of the lightning and used it wonderfully I hope we will see some more from your pre brunch shoot in the future. |

Hi Thomas
I echo all the comments of the rest of the group a superb nature image that so tells a story it also has so much humour in it photography is about capturing the moment and boy you did that with this image I think it would be an ideal image for a caption competition. |

Hi Guy
if it ruins the overall appearance and balance of the image leave well alone because as already stated it is superb. |

Hi Gut
Your wonderful eye for what most of us would pass by and your compositional skill never fail to amaze me.The colours are so beautifully intense and vibrant I so love looking at sections of structures to see if there is a more intimate image to be had but this is a masterclass in how to do it.I have one nit pick and its purely my opinion and no one else has mentioned I find the thin strip of blue on the right side does keep drawing my eye but its your image but that apart its a brilliant image I really really like. |

Hi Mark
Love the composition of this image the ground curves up to meet the sky the swirls in the clouds take the eye around back to the building the shaft of light highlighting but not overpowering brilliant composition and tonaly all the colours are sympathetic to one another this is purely my thought if it were my image I might just crop up from the bottom to the start of the grass well done great image. |

Hi Ella
You know my love of these events there are always so many interesting characters to capture and all want to be photographed this guy really suits your mono conversion you have nailed the eyes and boy do they give you a don't mess with me attitude the chin and ear are just a little soft I usually shoot around f5.6 but that is a nit pic keep going to these events and capturing these characters. |

Hi Paul
Well seen and well taken as it looks like the conditions were very contrasty I like the backdrop as it gives the eye something to rest on once you have looked through the door an image that so suits mono as already said just tone down a couple of the hihlights and leave well alone. |

Hi Ed
Well seen and very well composed I love the way the two logs are split they really take the eye through the picture like Ella I thought it was just a little flat and needed a touch more contrast love what Paul has done with it keep photographing what interests you its what photography is all about . |

Hi Rashid
Love the detail you have managed to capture in what must have been difficult lighting great sense of depth in the image and the man really well placed in the image I might just tone down the highlights a little as the lights are very strong but a great candid image well done. |

Hi John
As peter says winter trees through up some great shapes I agree with the others perhaps a crop and a little more contrast would really make it pop. |

Hi peter
If you had not told me it was a composite I would never have known as always beautifully composed for me the highlight of the image is the lighting on the side of the church may I wish you every success in the Dolomites and can't wait to see the fruits of your labours. |
