This is an amazing idea and to me the members of any club whether it be photography golf whatever are what make the club and bringing everyone together like this is brilliant we have a local photo club on the Wirral called Heswall and one morning each week they all go for coffee together and meet socially long may you enjoy your brunches and I salute your innovation. |

Hi Thomas amazing action shot so sharp and clear its almost as if he spotted you and looked straight at the lens the much debated white line along the lower contour of the surfer maybe caused by a little over sharpening but I live on a tiny peninsula and a lot of my images are taken from the waters edge if the lighting is a certain way it will reflect back off the water and can leave a line like this and I think that may be the answer. |

Hi Guy
A piece of photojournalism in my eyes an insight into the modern day is the woman in the background communicating with them or is she controlling them ? Are the men sat on seats or are the luminous blocks recharging points may sound like I need help lol but this image asked me questions and really brought home to me the insular way the world is becoming a very thought provoking image well spotted and very well presented maybe I should go and have a lie down now. |

Hi Bill
the car is a classic and by putting in a non distracting background you have made the car the only focus of attention the detail is superb, the colours of the car and the background really compliment each other beautifully,I am in your camp with the shadow I thought that just let a superb image down a bit just a touch of carefully applied shadow would make the car look grounded, a superb image really well handled. |

Oh my word if it gets to minus 3 in the UK the whole county grinds to a halt can't begin to imagine that, you deserve a gold medal for taking such a superb image in those conditions. |

Hi Isaac
I am going to ask the question no one else has asked how much below zero was the temperature and no I am not going to ask about the yellow on the tent I had guessed lol.
It must have been so disappointing for you not to get a stronger aurora but has already been said I think the subtlety of the colours is beautiful although red or orange in an image can be a killer this really works well for me superbly handled and really well placed not what you hoped for but I would certainly hang it on my wall. |

Hi Joe
Wow Japan my youngest son has visited Japan 3 times and loved it he also speaks fluent Japanese so he has a massive advantage.
Joe one tip about this image whatever you do don't even try and straighten it I love it it flows the curves draw you through the picture the tones compliment each other to me its magical if I were judging it would get a medal but what do I know but yeah so works in every way for me. I just about got away with poetic licence you most certainly do. |

Hi Isaac
This is a classic case of sometimes we get to close to our own work to notice the obvious and it takes or peers to open our eyes on the other shots I have taken out people in the background loved this so much missed him thank you so much it will be dealt with.

That bright light on the left will be a thing of the past shortly Guy and as for the brimstone I had my rose tinted specs on and more poetic licence than any photographer should use. |

Hi Barbara
Looks like this portrait is certainly capturing the interest of Group 4 I hadn't done much portraiture until 3 years ago started doing a bit and fell in love with it I so love this image its intimate the sitter is looking past the camera maybe thinking of a far away place who knows but it does ask a question he looks relaxed at ease and natural it really is top end for me get it in the next PSA Individual Portrait Comp. |

Hi Phil
I can so see why this won the action category its a great example of catching movement and also tells me your camera settings were spot on the icing on the cake is the girls expression this so makes the picture absolute determination and eyes wide open if I had been judging the contest it would have been the same result great piece of photo journalism . |

Hi Ella
Well done for again trying something different and each time you do you seem to succeed in my eyes I am still shaking my head and had to re -read 3 times that you added 3 strings in post processing wow what a job incredible something I would never even have attempted I love textures and shapes in pictures so it works for me as already mentioned I would just tone down the bright spot but all power to your continued exploration of different types of photography. |

Hi Paul
Superrbly detailed image so much to see and take in I also agree with the previous comments on the vignetting I may have just cropped a tiny bit off the right hand side to remove what looke like a telephone pole but a superb image which so suits mono. |

Hi Paul
A lot of the shots were taken at 6-8000 ISO and so pleased with them and I have just been told the production company want to take 5 of the images all colour ones for advertising purposes so really pleased with that. |

Hi Ed
Your lead in line is very strong and the trees lead the eye back through the other half of the picture it did also look rather flat to me and Peters re edit has given it much more punch. |

Hi Rashid
May I add my sincerest congratulations to you both and I wish you so much happiness. As you know I do a lot of portraits and I thought wow what a great portrait then of course the distraction of the background but this is a very very personal portrait and and it is what the sitter wanted so in that case it is perfect but above all it is a fabulous memory for you both so now I know the story it so works and you have captured her as the mother of dragons mission accomplished and again my warmest congratulations. |

Hi John
A well chosen viewpoint great leading lines and the sweep of the bridge really takes the eye through the picture my only thought I might open it in RAW and just drop the highlights slightly as the angle of the bridge coming into frame on the left hand side is a little bright to me and does take the eye you wanted city life for me you captured city life well done John.

Hi Peter even by your amazing high standards this for me tops the lot it flows in every direction composition is exceptional there is perfect symmetry between the slope of the mountain and the Northern lights more lead in lines than I have fingers with which to count them on tonally magnificent if you can beat this next month I can't wait to see it. |
