Hi Ella
Well thought out well arranged and well executed as already said tells a story and as you say a change of style for you but it seems like you can turn your hand to anything for me the only nit pick the bright area to the right side of the hat as we look at it is just a little bright and takes my eye I might just take that down a touch but otherwise brilliant can't wait to see what you come up with next

Hi Ed
Many congratulations in the B&W magazine as Peter said don't keep them to yourself share them with us.
Its always good to revisit old images especially as you say when we are more experienced in our editing skills.
I also felt the picture would benefit from a slightly different crop and I think Ella has done a great job one thing I do if I come across a scene like this and I have the time I leave the camera in the bag and walk around as much as I can water permitting of course and look at various compositions and heights and then when I have a feel for it the camera comes out and I will take a few shots from different places but as John said it is a very restful and peaceful image. |

Hi Rashid
The portrait itself is outstanding the eyes are pin sharp I love the way her hair cascades around the side of her face the lower hand below the chin again is superb the other hand would be ok if the elbow was not so forward as it has a strong light area at the front of the frame I would also darken down the very bright spot right behind the top of her head possibly even a vignette around the edge would take out a little of the lighter areas but as I say you have captured the portrait superbly. |

Hi John
This had me so laughing we have all seen this so many times been in the middle of it oblivious to what is going on around us just trying to photograph the object or scene that has attracted our attention someone yes you John had the awareness to capture the moment everyone else got frogs you got the action shot and captured the emotion of what we all love doing it may not win any comps but to me its priceless.
Absolutely love it. |

Hi Peter
I well remember you posting another shot of this location a few years ago but I am sure in that one the mist had fully cleared I think it was from a little further back this has tremendous atmosphere the composition is absolutely top drawer the sweep of the swirling mist and cloud from left centre across the top of the image to the right are a natural lead for the eye goes without saying yet again superbly processed . |

Hi Ed
Yes I do have a view I have no qualificaions either I was a little overawed when I joined this group and group 04 as the quality and and eclectic mix in both groups is both amazing and educational but in both groups its more like a family everyone shares advice and techniques its fantastic it has opened up my eyes to things I would never have thought of I am a person who loves taking images that please me everyone has different tastes and if we didn't wouldn't life be boring you have every right to be part of this or any other group you have produced some amazing work which I have enjoyed but the most important thing is you enjoy we are a group of people doing what we love and showing of what floats our boat and we are all equal. |

Hi Ed
Thank you so much for your kind words it had to be a low angle as the performer was about 25 feet in the air. |
