Hi Erik
Yet another superb nature image I also prefer the original image as it shows the enviroment in which the nest is situated the background is out of focus and adds clarity to the main subject and the contrast between the colour of the birds plummage and the muted background is the final master stroke an image that so deserved the top marks it received. |

Hi Guy
I did get a slight magenta caste in the sky on my monitor but having lived on the coast all my life I know ocassionally that colour can appear so it have been natural, really well composed with the crop I find this a very peaceful and calming image to look at. |

Hi Bill
For me everything about this image works superbly composed, leading lines to die for, exposure is spot on not only is the ice mountain a Tour de Force so is the image. |

Hi Isaac
there is a real atmosphere to this image one of menace and forboding, you have kept the shadow detail in the wall and side of the building superbly this image tells a story but also asks questions. |

Hi Ella
If I were in a moving zodiac I would be clinging on for dear life so this is an amazing capture I love the composition the rock coming out from the bottom corner of the image the diffused background concentrating the eye on the subject and a catchlight in the eye brilliant image Ella.

Hi Paul
the image is beautifully lit the rim lighting is gorgeous the D.O.F. works really well to concentrate the eye on the main subject, you got a great opportunity and you made the most of it well done. |

Hi Rashid
I love shapes in pictures and geometric images so this really appeals to me,I imagine you had a lot to take in but for you have isolated and composed the image to perfection as Ella said I am sure I would have walked past this but your eye spotted there was something of interest there well done great image I really like. |

Hi Peter
Another masterclass in landscape photography and processing as already said the 2 people just give that sense of scale to the enviroment but do not distract from it the sky makes the cliffs stand out superbly almost 3D. |

Hi Rashid
Thanks for your kind words the character when I saw him looked, powerful menacing and in control I wanted to try and capture that, thats why black and white was the only option in my eyes and instead of shooting on a level I shot from slightly lower to try and exagerate that feeling of menace and power, |
