Hi Erik
Firstly warmest congratulations on your well deserved FPSA .
Erik I am so sorry but this effect really does not work for me as already stated a boost in contrast may well make it pop,on the other hand I do so like the original and may I commend you on photographing Florida for posterity this is a valuable archive and important record of social history as you have already said this building is no more but at least there is a record of it.

Much appreciated Guy I like the crop as I say this really was a rush job at the last minute as I had a 1 hour talk to prepare for the photo club at the start of the month and a 2 hour talk for the R.A.F. at the end of the month so spent more time in Office than Photoshop. |

Hi david
Again you are teaching and informing us of another technique which I certainly appreciate. For me this effect makes the church almost 3D it really stands out and is different to anything I have seen before.
Again thanks as always for another photographic lesson. |

Hi Guy
Firstly fantastic to finally meet you and Paula last Friday night everyone so enjoyed your talk I am afraid your digitals will never look as good to me again now I have seen the absolute stunning quality of your work in print all I can say is you would fill a gallery.
Certainly in this country we see so many pictures of Parliament but this for me is a different take superbly composed and beautifully edited I would not change a thing I love the contrast between the bridge and Big Ben the lead in is perfect so glad you went into the archives to share this image with the group. |

Hi Bill great composition really takes the eye through the frame and a lot to take in the colour tones are superbly handled and I like the way the top of the gas pumps are above the horizon of the background hills really making them stand out a really well seen and and thoughtful image I really like. |

Hi Isaac
For me this is good enough to appear in National Geographic a study of light and contrast and perfectly composed for me as good as it gets. |

Hi Joe
Great idea and superbly executed something totally different which I love to see photographers do,it reminds me of the Hall of Mirrors they used to have at Fair grounds when I was young. |

Hi Bill
As always many thanks to you and the group for the advice I really like the crop I was thinking about that myself when I did the edit on this image I was also in the middle of writing a 2 hour illustrated talk for last Sunday at the local Royal Air Force Association about my night photography of R.A.F. aircraft this year so it was a quick edit so I had something to offer the group this month I will revisit the original edit now I have time and adjust accordingly much appreciated.

Hi Joe I agree about the front of the plane,it was a beautiful bright sunny afternoon as you say unusual for England but not unusual for England was the fact it was cold we had to let the model jump in a car every fifteen minutes with the heater full on to keep her from getting frostbite. |

Hi Paul
For me you have 2 superb images in one I love the mono and the colour versions.
Really good tonal range throughout well composed and I think the contrast between the main subject and the foreground and the sky really focus the eye where it needs to be.
I look forward to more images from this amazing trip. |

Hi Ed
I took a similar image of a similar storage unit at Birkenhead docks a few years ago and called it shapes and ladders.
The image is really well handled superbly composed I think this should do well for you, well done. |

Hi Rashid
Lovely composition and I like the toning as already stated the a contrast boost would be a benefit but I like the grain for me it goes with the texture of the hay bales. |

Hi Peter
I think you have so captured the power and dynamism of this waterfall with this image, the one surviving person for me is vital as it truly adds scale to the image, great textures in the rocks and yet another superb landscape to be admired. |
