Hi Erik
You chose your spot so well the sweeping nature of the composition really allows the eye to travel throughout the image all points lead to the farmhouse it looks like the light was very contrasty yet all the tones are well handled detail in all the shadows I agree with Guy this would look fantastic in a calender,a superb landscape. |

Hi David
I have never tried flower photography,I am still trying to get my head around the fact you did not use a tripod for this shot you have created a stunning image in low light hand held a feat I would not even had attempted. The flower does not overpower the background and vice versa they compliment one another beautifully the detail and textures especially in the outer petals are beautifully defined the toning is perfect you should be very proud of this image for me its perfect, hopefully this will inspire you to show us more of your in house still life work. |

Another great image from Dr Staircase I think the person in this image could have ruined this buuuuuut the way you have chosen your moment to position him is perfect the blur means he becomes part of the image not the centre of attraction if he was sharp the depth you have acheived in the image is outstanding this is a very very clever image so well thought out and composed it is a compliment to your skill as a photographer. |

Hi Bill
You could certainly hang this in a gallery great idea and really well carried out the flip really works as it takes the eye all the way through the image the background colours are quite strong but in this case they just make the main subject really stand out.Keep on experimenting I love seeing different takes on images. |

Hi Isaac
What a sky lucky you were there at this time the HDR has worked a treat the keystoning does not bother me in fact in this image I just think it adds scale and impact to the image I am wondering if I have ever seen an image with so many shades of blue the range is fantastic and they all compliment each other.
An image with impact for me. |

I use a top end Samsung monitor which I calibrated 3 days ago and on my monitor there is a slight magenta tint to the sky this just shows how things change from monitor to monitor.

Hi Joe
I think you did a great job on the composition for me its perfectly placed in the frame it remains the main focal point but does not distract from the amazing stone textures surrounding it,the colours on the stone are faded and add to the atmosphere of neglect for me and set the scene my only slight niggle could you not have asked the subject to look at the camera a little more seriously Joe an intriguing image very well seen and presented and tells a story brilliant. |

Guy that sounds absolutely fantastic what a birthday present I am 60 this Friday hope they have something like that lined up for me but probably more socks.
I have been invited to Abingdon on May 5th to do a night shoot with the Catalina G-PBYA so maybe next month there may be one of that but don't want to push my luck. |

Thanks David for your kind words the starburst was very strong and a distraction so I burnt it a bit on an adjustment layer. |

Hi Ella
You have had so many great shots from your zoo visits and this is a superb portrait he looks like rather a stern Victorian gentleman I agree with Pauls original comment about upping the contrast which you did and it has really lifted it I am sure the monkey would love a copy.Well done Ella a superb animal portrait. |

Hi Paul
What a fantastic landscape the contrast is superb beautifully captured and processed I naturally love the light illuminating the 4 peaks put I so like the ridges on the left hand slope the way they are outlined with the snow this should do so well for you hope there are more to come from this trip. |

Hi Ed
I like Peter really like the positioning of the Cacti as said by the other group members have a play with the contrast, levels and maybe highlights and shadows on adjustment layers because there is definately a very interesting image there it just needs a little bit of coaxing but keep with it |

Hi Rashid
I beautiful atmospheric portrait the use of natural light adds to the effect as for me as does the grain I think it adds to the effect in this image it is a very intimate image and one that really works so well for me, the composition is stunning the outside edge of the window down to the bottom sill which runs to the desk top the surgeon framed by the square screen the vent on the right level with the desk it is very geometric. My only suggestion I might just lower the highlights on the drawer handles, this is a very very strong piece of photo journalism.Well done.

Hi John
Another great spot by you and to get the man in the perfect place to get the triangle you had to be quick on the shutter button.I agree with Ella that I would just crop in from the right to really concentrate the viewer on the 3 main points of interest and like the other group members would add some contrast but a great spot and an image of great interest. |

Hi Peter
This picture captures everything about the falls movement, tumult, frenzy, energy and above all it looks cold beyond imagination,it is so well composed almost in levels the sky down to the distant hills and in the foreground the main subject the way you have composed the arc of the falls leads eye around and through the picture so all parts of the image are taken in as Ella said another fabulous winter scape. |

Hi Arfan
I just wanted to compliment you on this beautiful landscape superbly composed lighting and toning suit it so well the scrub grass ideally placed and just breaks the pattern but not enough to distract many congratulations on what I feel should be an award winning image for you
