Hi Erik
I love the mixture of warm and cooler tones in the water the fisherman for me is perfectly placed as Guy said a very peaceful image my theory is he has not caught a fish and is ringing the fish suppliers so he does not go home without a catch ! seriously a beautifully handled image on what sounds like a great day for you and your fellow club memebers. |

Hi Bill
Well spotted it looks like the workers are well above you so many people walk around looking at the ground you don't it does what a good image should do it makes you think what are they talking about, obviously taken at the height of the day so exposure really well controlled especially with the large amount of contrasting colours I think the wooden frame adds to the picture and shows their enviroment.Well seen and well done. |

Hi Guy
Like Isaacs image for this month another great spot, we have a club comp coming up soon titled impressions think this may have fitted the Bill for it.For an indoor image the white balance is superb and really well handled exposure with all the reflective surfaces and a great angle one of those images that just makes you smile its brightened my day up great spot superbly executed I like it as it is. |

Hi Bill
Its one of those images for me the more you look into it the more you see there's a great depth to it I like the treatment and all the colours really sit in harmony as already said peace and tranquility in an image and I am fully with you I work to please myself and if a judge don't like it I still sleep at night. |

Hi Joe
Great idea and totally different I can see a snake about to strike but to be honest 5 different people will see 5 different things then if you rotate it you see something else great fun love it well done. |

Hi Ella
Great spot and even better editing to get the effect you wanted I thought it was rim lighting not haloing so you fooled me my only suggestion and you can't change it now as the 2 men are very strong in the image and on the extreme right I feel my eye is being led straight to them and then out of the image if it was possible I would have preferred them on the left side looking into the image but that is a minor point I still love the originality of this image. |

Hi Paul
A tremendous wildlife shot I have seen a lot of these shots where the herd is obliterated by dust so you did well to get such a clear image and I imagine the very bright sunlight was difficult so you have handled it really well as Ella has said the S shape composition really does take the eye all the way through the image I have made one slight change I have tightened the crop to really emphasise the S shape.A great nature image really well seen and handled. |

Hi Ed
I like the angle of the bridge and the lattice work construction adds a really good pattern throughout the subject I have also fallen foul of the sharpening halo's and been indebted as we all have to Peters help and advice I might just drop the highlights ever so slightly and add a touch of contrast to the sky but a well seen and executed image |

Hi Rashid
I love the concept the silhouette is superbly produced and pin sharp and well placed in the image, like Ella and Ed I find the bright areas a little distracting so I opened the image in Photoshop Raw I just dropped the highlights right down dropped the exposure ever so slightly and upped the contrast, in the bottom right hand corner I selected the bright area then using the patchwork tool I brought another part of the path in this is done very quickly and could be done a lot better with time but just an idea.
I really like the slight toning you have added to the image its a nice touch that works. |

Hi John
As Ella has already said I think you got the shutter speed just right nicely flowing water with detail and no blown highlights I like Eds adjustment it looks like hes upped the contrast a bit though in Eds I would just bring the highlights down a touch I might also suggest a slight crop from the right as my eye is wandering over to the right a little good image well seen and well presented. |

Hi Peter
As always great detail and texture,I love the way the striations in the mountains run down from the left taking the eye through the picture great lead in from lower left taking the eye straight to the landing craft Iceland although not kind to you weather wise has still given you some fantastic photo opportunities. |
