Hi Erik
I am so glad that you and your family safely got through what must have been a terrible experience my thoughts and prayers are with you and those affected.
Not only a superb nature image but wonderfully composed the 2 youngsters on the left point straight to the chick in the middle with the outstretched wings and mum on the right pointing straight back into the image the eye is allowed to take in and enjoy the whole image the colours are a little subdued but that doesn't worry me as it such a strong image. |

Hi Helen
I did note Joe mentioned you I often find 2 photographers side by side still manage to produce a different image their own interpretation whether in camera or post processing so I would feel you could both submit your images and both would have your own stamp on them looking forward to seeing the images
Very best wishes

Hi Bill
You know my love of shapes in images so this is right up my street for me the composition is perfect as is the scale you have been given various options by other members of the group my only suggestion would be to crop down from the top quite tight to the top of the main building whatever you decide Bill this is a beautifully composed image that leads eye through the image beautifully and one I really like. |

Hi Guy
Shooting low to high really works for this image it is really well framed, the leaves backed by the white cloud really makes the leaves stand out so you chose your moment really well,I thought the rocks bottom left and centre were just a little light so I opened the image in RAW and I just dropped the luminance on the orange channel just to take some of the harsh mid day light off those 2 rocks and I just dropped the blue luminance channel ever so slightly just to darken the upper sky slightly.A really strong landscape image I think would look just as good in mono because of the fantastic textures in the rocks |

Hi Bill
You did a great job removing the various objects the tone and colour are spot on especially with so much red in the image as we all know red can really attract the eye but the reds are superbly handled and become part of the picture the birds are a nice touch and their number does not worry me I think you may have your cover picture for your calendar Bill. |

Hi Joe
The exposure bracketing has worked really well with plenty of detail captured I love the contrast of the brightness of the boat compared to the dimly lit background I think Guy and Isaacs de saturation of the building works to really concentrate the eye on the boat,a really well composed and edited image. |

Hi Guy
Many thanks for your advice I thought the Twister sign looked a little undercooked and was going to take a look at it as I say the image was only taken a couple of days before I uploaded I like to try and upload a recent shot, many thanks for your sound advice as always its very much appreciated. |

Hi Ella
I really love the tones you have captured on the statue the rain also adds a wonderful sheen and contrast to the tiled base of the statue great detail in the mountains in the background and the line of cloud is the icing on the cake well seen and really well processed. |

Hi Rashid
Great tonal range in this image and the subject really well placed between the trees like Peter suggested I would have a look at cropping up slightly from the bottom of the image,I would also just drop the highlights ever so slightly on the path in front of the man, well composed and an image that asks a question which path should he take? Were is he going ? Good idea well presented. |

Hi John
Positioning of the bird and composition are spot on like Peter I thought the bird looked just a tad soft but should not take much more sharpening. The shape and angle of the cloud compliment the bird well done John. |

Hi Peter
You had me fooled Peter the various elements have been put together seamlessly, although the cross in the bottom left hand corner is only small it really anchors the image the position and angle of the church is ideal what can I say but your toils have produced another top image. |

Hi Peter
Many thanks for your advice I had the idea of using the whole scene to show him amongst the jumble but I think I got lost somewhere with this and we can sometimes get too close to our own work and not spot the obvious a wise pair of eyes looking over our shoulders is often invaluable as in this case I will re visit and take your advice on board.
Many thanks. |

Hi Helen
I saw this while browsing the groups and it really attracted my attention I love the composition really well spotted and and edited I agree with Subhash I would crop it up from the bottom a little so the white does not overpower the more muted tones but an image i really love, well done
Very best wishes
