Hi Isaac
I really like the atmosphere in this image which is enhanced with the black and white conversion at first glance I thought he was walking along the edge of a swimming pool, normally I would not like a figure walking right out of an image but the perfect symmetry of the image makes the eye run along the image until you reach the man a really well seen and captured image. |

Hi Erik
You can tell from your description how thrilled you were to be able to capture the chicks on video and stills and considering how small this chick must be its a remarkable image as you must have been some distance away so not to disturb the Mother or the chicks, the soft coloured toning of the bird stands out beautifully against the deep green background I am afraid I am also in the anti vignette camp I do feel it takes impact away from a very powerful image.I hope we see some more from the shoot. |

Hi Bill
Looking how big the section of Lily petal looks in the frame the spider must be tiny to the human so this is a great spot the detail on the spider looks fantastic and the bright colours of the background really make it stand out very well seen and captured Bill. |

Hi Bill
Great start with your new lens beautifully sharp and detailed portrait of the silver back tones and colours really well handled my only pint adding the vignette around the edges have left what looks like a halo around the Gorillas head it is of course not a halo just just the sharp change of contrast between the vignette and the bright grass in the background. |

Joe colour texture shape right up my street I love the depth created by the shading and tones the vertical on the left does'nt bother me as there is light and shade within and a lovely joint / angle two thirds down which gives it interest an image that would brighten up anyones day it has mine. |

Unusually for Scotland Diana it did chuck it down half way back up the trail but even more surprisingly for Scotland that was the only rain I saw in 4 days. |

Hi Paul
A really good nature image I am glad you were behind a 400mm lens as I am told these animals can be very dangerous.Peter has beaten me to it looking at the image I thought just crop up slightly from the bottom as there is a the very top of a Hippo in the foreground of the image that just takes the eye Peters crop has taken it from a very good image to a top image hope you have more to share in future months from your trip. |

Hi Ella
Now you see why I keep getting drawn back to Comic Cons so many characters and if you ask they are always glad that someone wants to photograph them I always send them a copy of the picture. This is a beautifully toned and detailed portrait of a very interesting subject as Peter said just tone down the top right hand corner and you have a winner in my eyes lots of interest oh I love it well done Ella. |

Hi John
Great leading line in from the bottom left the tree trunks on the left stop the eye wandering and follow the stream through the picture, also the rocks are really well placed as the eye skips from rock to rock again leading you through the picture,my only observation it looks a little bright on my screen so I had a little play with it and just upped the contrast and shadows a touch and a little local dodging and burning.
A really well composed landscape which should do well for you. |

Hi Rashid
You have frozen the moment superbly the lead in line is perfect and very strong taking us straight to the main subject,I also love the texture and grittiness you have managed to capture in the wall also the toning in the wall is really well handled.
I have if you don't mind made a couple of adjustments I opened the image in Photoshop Raw and just lifted the shadows and blacks on the man just to show a little more detail,I cropped a bit from the top just to take out the top right hand corner which I felt was a little bright compared to the rest of the image but that could be burn't in a touch if you don't like the crop,I also burnt in very slightly the mans upper hand and the white triangle on his trousers.
I really love the lines and textures in the image and you have really captured the moment |

Hi peter
I honestly did'nt think you could surpass some of your previous images Peter but this is outstanding in composition tone and detail the only thing that would improve it is a dragon flying past the large rock about as good as it gets for me inlandscapes. |

Brilliant shot Diana yes put a white stroke on it on my monitor there is a tiny white mark on the backdrop between the two front feet just take that out and you have a winner. |

Hi Isaac
I really love the power in the image caught at just the right moment the backdrop is ideally placed to add to the image and show the enviroment but not enough to detract from the main subject this image could do very well in a number of subject categories it a a winner in my eyes. |
