the painting effect is powerful and adds much more drama to the event.The dust looks so dramatic and your warning it up fro mthe original is a very good idea. the dark tow elephants and the baby elephant tell the story.

Nancy you are correct.
It took an enormous amount of research long before we I left America, as well as strategic planning. I think I drove my wife and our friends who were traveling with us a bit crazy over it, but all agreed that it was worth it. |

the painting very effectively blocks out the mess & clutter seen in the original.
This is a true modern painting of autumn foliage, both on the ground and on the tree.
What you did to the foreground trunk enhances the image rather than it being perceived as obstructing the leaves as in the original. |

Cindy, I like the combination of the smooth texture of the water & the move prominent texture of the bear. It makes it stand out well.
A well-timed image to have the salmon in its mouth 7 the water dripping. All well brought out in the painting. |

Your subject matter is delightful.
What i like so much about your painting is the soft hues and textures that give this a wonderful peaceful painting.
I particularly like the hues of the water above the child. |

Pat, no excuses needed for using Topaz! If it works, which it does very nicely, use it.
I love the brush strokes on the purple foreground colors and on the green leaves.
The path dissects the two groups nicely allowing one to concentrate on each. |
