This also brings back fond memories to me.
On my last visit there I photographed the bridge at sunset.
It is a beautiful subject & you have done it justice.
I really like the way you have treated the people and the buildings in the painting. |

You obviously lightened up the image, but I wish you would have kept the sky darker. It was more effective in the original.
Having said that I really like the effect you have created on the water and the sailing bots.
I will be there next month visiting my brother and sister-in-law. They live in La Jolla. |

This is a fantastic painting and most effective in bringing out the speed effect of the zebras. I also like what you have done with the background and the beautiful blue water forms a perfect base to the image.
the darker stripes in the midst of the white stripes really has an artistic flare to it. |

A well chosen subject for this time of the year!
What I particularly like is the only slight painterly effect for this subject matter.
the pure black background is good because it allows full concentration on the Christmas decorations. |

I think this subject matter lends itself very well to using this harsh ink style. it is very effective in making the flower clearly scene but in a very artistic way. Your supportive background is very effective. |
