You obviously successfully substituted the green background hill for the sky which has a good abstract multi-colored appearance.
However, I find the bright yellow of the right lower quadrant too overwhelming, My eye is constantly drawn to it instead of the wall leading into the tower. |

Interesting how you produced a monochromatic sky. It has great foreboding suggesting an ominous thunderstorm brewing.
The aspens really stand out well in the painting. I also like what you have accomplished with the foreground. |

Yes, the buildings stand out much better and show a softer glow.
The minimal painterly effect on these is also very effective.
I like what the painting has done to the water. |

I think the Zebras look great. their natural stripes just lend themselves to a great painterly effect.
However, I fond the bright yellow background overwhelming.
It keeps drawing my eye to it and away from the zebras.
The water reflections work better and look good. |

This is just beautiful.
Both the flowers and the supportive background are great.
I am not sure why or to what purpose that square is in the center of the image, but I would definitely get rid of it. |

I spent a day there once on a photographic workshop.
I could not find the photogenic aspects of it, but that was my failing.
I wish you would have lightened the right lower foliage some more.
that gives a wonderful base to the rocks
You have really done a masterful job in giving an excellent painterly appearance to the rocks and have softened them nicely.
