From a rather flat winter image original you have turned it into a dramatic winter storm with you painting. the sky has much more texture & luminosity variation. The trees also stand out much better.

The textures definitely add & fill in on the empty spaces. I liked your geometric pattern on the right. It complements the main subject well. The painterly effect of the dancer makes it more striking. |

I remember these coastal scenes so well. Beautiful leading lines of rocks and then the powerful wave with spray.
I like what you did to the foreground rocks and the waveform of the sky. |

The combination worked perfectly. It shows a fun family day at the beach - although clearly not swimming weather.
thew painterly effect is gentle and just enough to add substantive interest with out detracting form the pictorial effect.
