56 Jan 18 Comment Although I love the moodiness of the original I much prefer your painting. Eliminating the left side of the dock enhances thew foreground tremendously.the fog, foliage and interesting water all stand out so much better.

I prefer the more saturated look.

56 Jan 18 Comment Not only is the animal beautifully shown but the supporting foliage and flowers are wonderful without overlapping critical parts of the head and neck.
Although I dont ordinarily think of painting animals (& you are making me re-think this), your rendition is beautiful.
