Thanks Nancy.
It does look better.
I normally would do that in PS.
Did you hear that another company bought out Nik form Google, so it is not going to die on the vine, but you may have to pay for updates. |

Overall the composition is very good.
The poor lighting conditions show the effect in a somewhat monotonic image.
The painting effect is definitely very subtle, but if this is your goal to achieve a realistic painting, then you did accomplish that.
Personally I might have tried to enhance the green foliage, esp. the bright hostas to make this more of a center of interest and to add some tone variation. |

there is so much more please information in the painting. the clouds and the trees and other green foliage are so much more impressive to look at. It truly is a framed window on an idyllic scene.
the harsh light of the interior has also been tone down nicely. |

Your painting is far more dramatic than the original.
I love the way you gave the overall yellow tonality to stress a sunny autumn day.
Then your effective maintenance of the reality of the boy & buggies keeps this a a strong center of interest.
Very effective |

The crazy colors in her hair actually complement the wild brush strokes of the feathers on her dress.
her face has only a minimal painterly effect & it was very smart to bring back her original eyes.
All in all a more powerful portrait than the original.
Very nicely done. |
